NE10 Player of the Week

Jose Clemente, Saint Rose
Grad | Forward | Castello, Spain

Clemente stayed hot with seven points in another unbeaten week for the Golden Knights (1-0-1). He scored twice and tallied an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Daemen before netting another goal in a 3-3 draw with Assumption on Saturday. Clemente now sits on a streak of three straight matches in which he has recorded a multi-point effort.

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Jacob Leone, Saint Michael's
Sophomore | Defense | Rochester, N.Y.

Sophomore back Jacob Leone (Rochester, N.Y.) anchored a defense that yielded only one goal in a 2-0 week while assisting a 33rd-minute goal that gave Saint Michael's the lead for good on Friday in a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State. The Purple Knights blanked Saint Anselm, 3-0, on Tuesday.

NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Liam Barrett, Saint Michael's
Senior | Goalkeeper | Saugus, Mass.

Senior Liam Barrett (Saugus, Mass.) posted a 0.50 GAA, .923 save percentage and 6.0 saves per game in a 2-0 week. He had three saves in a 3-0 shutout of Saint Anselm on Tuesday before collecting a career-high nine stops in a 3-1 victory at Southern Connecticut State on Friday.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Marshall Butler
Freshman | Forward | Middletown, Conn.

Marshall Butler scored his first two college goals in a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State on Friday, and his dangerous 37th-minute cross was mishandled, leading to a teammate scoring the game-winner. The Purple Knights finished 2-0, also taking a 3-0 decision over Saint Anselm on Tuesday.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Aleksei Armas, Adelphi (So., M - Floral Park, N.Y.)
His first two collegiate points couldn't have come at a bigger time for the Panthers ... Cultivated both plays that led to each of Adelphi's goals in a 2-0 win over Saint Anselm on Saturday ... As a result, Adelphi currently holds the No. 2 seed in the NE10 Tournament, if the season ended today.

Francisco Teixeira, Assumption (Jr., GK - Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Teixeira logged a career-high ten saves in Assumption's 1-1 tie at Division I University of Connecticut. The only goal he allowed was on a penalty kick in the 81st minute.

Antonio Santos, Bentley (Fr., M - Dorado, Puerto Rico)
Santos scored in the 46th minute of Bentley's 1-0 victory over Southern New Hampshire on Saturday. He was in the starting lineup, played 73 minutes and scored his first career goal.

Younes Addar Khanoussi, Franklin Pierce (Gr., F - Castellon, Spain)
Addar kept his personal scoring streak alive this last week, which makes it seven straight games with at least one goal. With that, Addar is up to 15 goals through 10 matches this season and he continues to lead all of Division II men's soccer in goals. In Friday's matchup against American International, Addar caught a cross pass in front of the goalie crease, fired a shot that was stopped by an AIC defender, but then caught the rebound and fired the second shot home helping chip into the teams 3-1 victory. The Ravens are now 10-0 on the season and have held the No. 1 rank for six straight weeks.

Sean Lane-Turnbull, New Haven (Sr., D - Wellington, New Zealand)
One of two goal scorers on the week, Lane-Turnbull came up with the game-winning goal in a 1-0 non-conference shutout of Staten Island. The goal is his second of the season while it is his first game-winner of the year.

Nino Scolieri, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Franklin Square, N.Y.)
Scolieri tallied one goal while assisting a pair in a 2-0 week. During a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm on Tuesday, he netted a 19th-minute marker before adding an assist on a 69th-minute goal. Scolieri picked up a 62nd-minute assist on a goal that gave the Purple Knights breathing room in a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State on Friday.

Nicolas Gonzalez, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., M - Santander, Spain)
Gonzalez scored two goals during a 1-1-0 week for the Penmen. Both goals came in Wednesday's 4-3 win at Molloy, as he scored on a penalty kick to tie the match, 1-1, in the 62nd minute, and found the back of the net again in the 88th minute to provide insurance and make it 4-2.
