Franklin Pierce Men and Saint Rose Women Earn Top Seeds.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Franklin Pierce men's soccer and Saint Rose women's soccer, both ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, highlighted a group of five programs from the Northeast-10 Conference to qualify for the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Soccer Championships on Monday night. First round action gets underway on Thursday. 

On the men's side, Franklin Pierce (16-0-2) earned the No. 1 seed in Super Region 1 after going undefeated in the regular season and winning the NE10 Championship on Sunday. It is the third-straight season that the Ravens have earned the top seed and they will host the winner of No. 8 Bloomsburg (10-3-5) and No. 9 Southern New Hampshire (10-5-4), which is scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. at Sodexo Field in Rindge, N.H. SNHU qualified for the NCAA Championship after an impressive showing in the NE10 Championship on Sunday, taking Franklin Pierce to the brink before falling in penalty kicks. 

For the women, Saint Rose (19-0-1) just won its fourth-consecutive NE10 Championship on Sunday with a 4-1 victory over Adelphi. The Golden Knights earn the top seed in the East Region for the fourth-straight season and will play the winner of No. 4 Roberts Wesleyan (10-2-3) and No. 5 Southern New Hampshire (9-4-5), which will be played on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Plumeri Sports Complex in Albany, N.Y. Adelphi (12-3-4), the NE10 finalist, earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Bridgeport on Friday at 1 p.m. at Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y. 

It is the seventh-straight season that the NE10 has had at least three women's soccer programs in the NCAA Championship field, while it is the ninth-consecutive season that the conference has multiple men's soccer programs qualifying.
