WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven women's lacrosse team volunteered at Life Haven on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers raked leaves and helped to clean up the property for the New Haven-based organization.
Life Haven, which is a part of New Haven Home Recovery, is a not-for-profit organization offering temporary, emergency shelter in a safe and nurturing environment for homeless women who are pregnant or caring for young children. Life Haven shelters over 150 families annually.
