AIC, Bentley and Saint Michael's Tied with League-High Four Selections.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 20 volleyball student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team on Tuesday, highlighted by a league-best four selections for American International, Bentley and Saint Michael's.
The 2023 Academic All-District teams are selected by CSC and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The NE10 had six student-athletes advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members and the results will be announced on Jan. 9, 2024. AIC's Aleksandra Ivanovic and Amber Williams, Bentley's Ingrid Murphy and Ellie Wheeler, and Saint Anselm's Audrey Wetjen and Caroline Belmontez will advance for Academic All-America consideration.
Six different NE10 programs had CSC Academic All-District honorees, including three from both Pace and Saint Anselm, as well as two from reigning league champion New Haven.
