NE10 Tied for Second Among DII Conferences in LEARFIELD Fall Standings

Three NE10 Schools Ranked in Top 50.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 11 of its 12 member institutions ranked in the fall standings of the 2023-24 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, which is a metric used to award points based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. The updated standings were announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) at the end of December.

As a conference, the NE10 tied for second in Division II in the total number of schools included in the rankings (11). Only the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) had more at 13, while the NE10 tied with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). 

The NE10 had three schools achieve Top 50 status, including Adelphi - which was ranked No. 23 with 160.0 points. Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire were tied at No. 26 with 140.0 points each. Overall, the Conference had eight institutions in the Top 100. 

Franklin Pierce earned the maximum 100.0 points in men's soccer after winning its second-consecutive NCAA DII Championship - the third national title in program history. Adelphi's biggest earning sport was women's soccer at 83.0 points, following the program's trip to the national semifinals. Southern New Hampshire led all NE10 institutions by scoring points in four different fall sports (women's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball). 

Bentley (No. 52), Southern Connecticut (No. 63), Saint Rose (No. 77), Assumption (No. 87), New Haven (No. 91), American International (No. 120), Pace (No. 120) and Saint Anselm (No. 120) were also recognized on the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Fall Standings.
