511 Student-Athletes Record 4.0 GPA.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced that 68-percent of its overall student-athlete body has been selected to the Academic Honor Roll following the 2023 fall semester, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. It is the largest percentage of NE10 student-athletes included on the Academic Honor Roll since the spring semester of 2021.
Among its 12 member and five associate member institutions, the Conference recognized 3,897 student-athletes (68%) for their academic achievements. The Academic Honor Roll (AHR) acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations: Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49).
11 of 12 NE10 full member institutions had at least 50-percent of their student-athletes earn AHR status. Five institutions reached 70% or higher, while 10 had at least 60% of their student-athletes recognized.
Bentley had a league-high 84.9% of its student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll, while Pace ranked second with 82.1% and Adelphi was third at 79.0%. Saint Rose (78.4%) and Southern New Hampshire (76.8%) round-out the top five.

Among the 3,897 student-athletes honored, there were 511 that fell in the Academic Excellence category by earning a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) in the fall semester. Saint Rose led all institutions with 71 student-athletes that earned a 4.0 GPA.
Bentley had the highest number of total honorees with 449, while Assumption was second (371) and American International was third (342). Football had a league-high 424 athletes recognized, while women's soccer led all female sports with 320.
The NE10 had 10 sports produce 200 or more student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the fall semester. Nine institutions saw percentage increases compared to the 2022 fall semester, as Southern New Hampshire led the way with an 11-point improvement.
