NE10 Player of the Week
Kristopher Campbell, Bentley
Senior | Attack | Longmeadow, Mass.
Campbell had a career high nine points on four goals and five assists in Bentley's 19-6 win over Assumption. He had a hand in each of Bentley's first four goals of the game, assisting the first two and scoring the next two. He added two goals and assists in the 3rd quarter. Campbell also scored two goals at No. 11 Pace earlier in the week.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Ryan Fleming, Saint Rose
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Saratoga, N.Y.
Fleming registered 38 saves in the 1-1 week with an impressive 65.5 save percentage. The sophomore totaled a program single-game record 24 stops in Saturday's 15-10 loss to No. 7 Adelphi while allowing 15 goals. He also earned a victory by allowing just five goals in 45 minutes while making 14 saves in an 18-9 victory over AIC.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Ronan DePaul, Southern N.H.
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Elkton, Md.
Ronan won his first two career starts in goal for the Penmen last week. He made 22 saves in a 13-9 win at Assumption last Wednesday. On Saturday, in a 14-13 double-overtime win over Franklin Pierce, DePaul made 16 saves with 13 goals allowed over 65:38. For the week he finished with 38 saves and a 63.3 save percentage and 10.51 GAA. He also picked up ten ground balls.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Gordon Purdie, Adelphi (Sr., A, Lynbrook, N.Y.)
The Panthers improved to 3-0 in NE10 play this week behind a key offensive performance from Gordon Purdie, Jr.. The grad student scored four times in a 15-10 win over Saint Rose while adding one caused turnover and collecting two ground balls.
Caleb Ikkela, Franklin Pierce (So., A, Onset, Mass.)
Caleb Ikkela started and played in two games for the Ravens this past week. He totaled four goals, one assist for five points with five groundball pick-ups and one caused turnover. Against SNHU on Saturday, Ikkela scored a hat-trick (three goals) with five groundballs.
Devin Andrews, Le Moyne (Sr., A, Canandaigua, N.Y.)
He registered a career-high eight points on three goals and a career high-tying five assists in top-ranked Le Moyne's 25-4 win over American International on Saturday evening.
Anthony Caputo, Pace (So., M, Westbury, N.Y.)
Caputo led the Setters' attack during their 14-10 triumph over Bentley last week. The Long Island native tallied a team-high three goals as Pace improved to 2-2 in the NE10 this season.
Jack Andrews, Saint Anselm (So., M, Cumberland, R.I.)
Sophomore Jack Andrews of the nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College men's lacrosse team scored seven goals with an assist this past week, helping the Hawks improve to 4-0 on the season. He scored three goals with the man-up advantage and also posted two caused turnovers in a stellar week for Saint Anselm.
CJ Hart, Saint Anselm (Sr., GK, Reading, Mass.)
Hawks netminder CJ Hart made 12 saves on 17 shots this week, backstopping Saint Anselm to a 2-0 record. He posted a .706 save percentage in just over 88 minutes of action, conceding just five goals.
Gennaro Marra, SNHU (So., FO, Hampstead, N.H.)
SNHU's face-off specialist, Marra is currently winning faceoffs at a .684 percentage. In the 14-13 double-overtime win over Franklin Pierce, Marra won 26 of 32 faceoffs, including 14 of 16 after halftime while picked up an impressive 18 ground balls. He added nine more ground balls and 13 of 25 FO wins in a victory at Assumption.
