Award Honors Top Lacrosse Players in the Country.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Le Moyne's Matt Hutchings and Adelphi's Kole Pollock have each earned a spot on the 2021 Tewaaraton Award Watch List, as the Northeast-10 Conference prepares for the start of league play in men's and women's lacrosse over the next 10 days.

The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The watch lists include the top players across all three divisions of NCAA lacrosse and highlight the early contenders for the award.

Hutchings, a fifth year attacker, returns to Le Moyne after being named an NE10 First Team All-Conference player in 2019. He has recorded 90 goals, 56 assists and 146 points in his career, including a career-best 39 goals and 69 points as a junior. The Dolphins enter the season ranked No. 1 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Poll.

Pollock, a graduate student, had a remarkable 2019 season where she earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Player and Attacker of the Year honors and led Adelphi to its ninth NCAA championship in program history. A two-time NE10 First Team All-Conference selection, Pollock ranks sixth in goals (215) and 10th in points (265) in Adelphi history. The Panthers are ranked No. 1 in the IWLCA Poll entering the 2021 campaign.

The NE10 has announced that outside spectators would not be allowed at conference contests as of Thursday, March 11, to promote the health and safety of its student-athletes and campus communities. Lacrosse games for NE10 institutions will be live streamed for free on NE10 NOW, the conference's digital network, throughout the season.
