Cswerko, Ten Divers Among Those on NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships Qualifying Lists

Division II championships set for March 12-15 in Geneva, Ohio

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Qualifying lists have been announced for the 2014 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, which will be held March 12-15 in Geneva, Ohio.

For the men, Southern Connecticut State University junior Raymond Cswerko (pictured) has qualified in the 400 IM and 200 fly. Cswerko enters the championship as the No. 4 seed in the 400 IM with a time of 3:53.64. He is also seeded 12th in the 200 fly with an even time of 1:49.00. He will also take part in the 200 IM and 200 breast.

In men’s diving, a pair of Northeast-10 Conference sophomores qualified on the 1-meter board, as Le Moyne’s Josh Byrne and Bentley’s Colton Bridge both qualified. Byrne will also compete in the 3-meter prelims as well.

In women’s diving, six Northeast-10 student-athletes qualified on the 1-meter.

The student-athletes include Bentley sophomores Nicola Mancini and Courtney Stone, Pace University junior Vitoria Bernardes, sophomore Jenny Palladino and senior Megan Morse and So. Connecticut senior Jessica Renzo.

Mancini and Renzo also qualified on the women’s 3-meter as well, as did The College of Saint Rose junior Alexa Patnaude and So. Connecticut senior Laura Richard.

The Northeast-10 Conference is an association of 15 NCAA Division II colleges and universities located in New England and New York that is committed to supporting balanced academic and athletic opportunities for more than 6,000 student-athletes.
