Dolphins Earn Top Spot for First Time Since 2019.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Coming off a Southwest Division regular season title in 2021, Le Moyne has been tabbed as the frontrunner in the 2022 Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll – as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Le Moyne, under third-year head coach Liz Beville, tallied 11 of 14 first-place votes and 167 points overall to earn the top spot in the poll. The Dolphins won their most recent NE10 title in 2018 – the same year they won the Division II National Championship for the first time in program history.

Adelphi recorded the final three first-place votes and totaled 157 points for a second-place finish in the poll. The Panthers – 2019 NCAA champions – advanced to the NE10 championship game in 2021, falling to Bentley by a narrow 9-8 margin.

Pace came in third with 140 points, while Bentley (112 points) edged Saint Anselm (111 points) for fourth place in the poll. Following their 2021 NE10 title, the Falcons were the only NE10 team to advance to NCAA play – eventually dropping a 10-7 decision to Roberts Wesleyan in the quarterfinal round.
