NE10 Player of the Week
Lydia Rudden, Stonehill
Junior | Attack | Hopkinton, Mass.
Rudden matched a school-record with eight assists, while adding two goals, to finish with a career-high 10 points in leading the Skyhawks to a 20-14 season-opening win at Molloy on Sunday. She posted just the 13th double-figure point game in program history and also contributed two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the win.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Sullivan, Stonehill
Senior | Midfield | Madison, Conn.
Sullivan posted a team-high three caused turnover and collected a team-best six ground balls, while controlling possession with a career-high matching 11 draw controls in Sunday's season-opening win at Molloy. She also contributed on the offensive side with a career-high matching five goals.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Kate Laico, Pace
Freshman | Goalkeeper | East Meadow, N.Y.
Laico earned her first career win in her first career start for Pace on Sunday. The Long Island native made five saves, while allowing just one goal in the first half of Pace's season-opening victory over Jefferson.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Hope Alto, Saint Michael's
Junior (Freshman Eligibility) | Attack | South Boston, Mass.
After missing last season due to injury and seeing the entire 2020 season wiped out, Alto made her college debut with 13 draw controls and a goal during a 10-6 win at Post last Saturday. The draw controls were the most by a Purple Knight in 14 seasons, while her goal at 5:55 of the third quarter gave Saint Michael's the lead for good.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Christina McCabe, Adelphi (Sr, A - Oceanside, N.Y.)
McCabe was the points and leading goal scorer for the Panthers this week, netting five goals and seven total points in a commanding 23-3 win over Georgian court to open the season. She recorded a perfect shot-on-goal percentage and added two helpers along the way.
Sydney Juvelier, Pace (Jr., A - Centereach, N.Y.)
Juvelier led the Setters' attack during their season-opening win over Jefferson on Sunday. The junior notched a career-high four goals in a 16-5 triumph. Juvelier also added a pair of caused turnovers and a ground ball.
Jennifer Sommer, Pace (Jr., Midfield - Centereach, N.Y.)
Sommer led the Setters' defensive efforts on Sunday in a season-opening win over Jefferson. The Long Islander tallied a pair of caused turnovers and a ground ball, while Pace allowed just five goals in the game.
Bayleigh Takacs, Southern Conn. St. (Sr, A - Sparta, N.J.)
Takacs scored four goals and recorded three assists in Southern's lone game of the week at Molloy. Takacs' four goals tied a career-high, and are the second most in a game among NE10 players so far this season. Her seven points are tied for the most in a game in the NE10.
