NE10 Player of the Week
Lydia Rudden, Stonehill
Junior | Attack | Hopkinton, Mass.
Rudden totaled a team-high 12 points with five goals and a team-best seven assists in a big 2-0 week for the Skyhawks. She converted 2-of-3 free-position shot attempts and also chipped in with a ground ball and draw control. Rudden shared the team lead with five points on three goals and two assists in Saturday's 17-14 triumph over No. 2-ranked Le Moyne. She also registered seven points with two goals and a team-best five assists in Tuesday's 22-11 win at Franklin Pierce.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Kristina Kallansrude, Adelphi
Junior | Midfield | Jericho, N.Y.
In a 2-0 week for Adelphi, Kallansrude posted a team-leading six caused turnovers while totaling four ground balls and four draw controls to boot. Against the then No. 1 team in the country, Indianapolis, Kallansrude was responsible for five caused turnovers while being second on the team in draw controls with four against SNHU.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Gabby Buscemi, New Haven
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | East Patchogue, N.Y.
Buscemi continued her undefeated start to the 2022 season with wins over Indiana (Pa.) and in the NE10 opener against Franklin Pierce. She finished the week with 31 saves, putting up double digits in each victory. She opened up the week with a new career-high in a neutral site win over Indiana and then topped that with 18 in the NE10 win over FPU. Overall for the season, Buscemi now has 51 saves which currently leads all conference goalies. In addition she added seven ground balls.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Sarah Faley, Stonehill
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Mineola, N.Y.
Faley posted an 11.33 goals against average with 7.5 saves per game in a key 2-0 week for the Skyhawks. She also collected two ground balls and posted a .469 save percentage over her 90-minutes in goal over the two wins. The freshman posted a season-high 11 saves, with a ground ball in notching a win against No. 2 Le Moyne on Saturday. She made four stops in the second half of play, yielding just three goals, in Tuesday's 22-11 win at Franklin Pierce.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Kerrin Heuser, Adelphi (Jr., A - Hicksville, N.Y.)
In a 2-0 week for Adelphi, Heuser was the team's point leader, as she finished with eight overall. In a win over top-ranked UIndy, she scored twice, while causing one turnover and collecting three ground balls - her shot-on-goal percentage was at 80.0%. Against SNHU, she posted six points courtesy of four goals and two assists, while also winning three draw controls.
Emma Lemanski, Adelphi (Sr, GK - Wantagh, N.Y.)
Lemanski earned two more wins this week between the pipes for No. 8 Adelphi, totaling eight saves over two games. Her biggest feat was holding the No. 1 UIndy Greyhounds to their lowest scoring output of the season, as she allowed five goals but picked up six saves.
Jenna Joseph, Assumption (Jr., A - Longmeadow, Mass.)
Joseph helped Assumption register a convincing 16-2 win over Saint Michael's in its only game of the week by filling the stat sheet. She registered six points on four goals and two assists, won four draw controls, caused two turnovers, and scooped up one ground ball. Joseph also scored her four goals on five shot attempts which were all on target.
Annie Acquavita, New Haven (Jr., A - Cheshire, Conn.)
Acquavita led the Chargers in a 2-0 week with 10 total points with eight goals and a pair of assists across the two games. She opened up the week with three goals and an assist in a neutral site wire-to-wire win over Indiana (Pa.) on Monday. She then upped that performance for the NE10 opener where she dropped in a season-high five goals and added an assist against Franklin Pierce. Overall for the week, she took 13 shots, placing 11 of them on goal while adding a caused turnover and five ground balls.
Aleya Corretjer, Pace (Sr., M - Thiells, N.Y.)
Corretjer was outstanding during a 12-11 loss at No. 7 East Stroudsburg on Saturday. The senior piled up a game-high six points on four goals and a pair of assists. Corretjer currently ranks second in the NE10 in both total points (28) and assists (12) this season.
Lexi Palmisano, Saint Anselm (Jr, M - Woburn, Mass.)
Palmisano registered at least five goals in each game for Saint Anselm in a 2-1 week. Palmisano opened the week with five goals in a win over Flagler before registering six in a win over No. 23 Saint Leo. The junior closed the week with five goals in a loss to No. 16 Embry-Riddle. Palmisano put 20 shots on goal in the week and collected four ground balls and nine draw controls.
Grace Young, Saint Anselm (Sr, GK - Merrimack, N.H.)
Young stopped 34 shots on goal in a 2-1 week for the Hawks who grabbed wins over Flagler and No. 23 Saint Leo but fell to No. 16 Embry-Riddle. Young made 13 saves in the loss to the Eagles and finished the week with a 9.33 goals-against average and a 54.8 save percentage. The senior made 34 saves in the three-game week for Saint Anselm.
Kaitlyn Jolly, Saint Rose (Sophomore, Attacker - Waterloo, N.Y.)
Jolly totaled eight goals and 10 total points in helping Saint Rose to a 2-0 week. She netted four goals in each of the Golden Knight victories, with a a pair of assists adding to a six-point performance on Saturday versus Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Nicole Taveras, Saint Rose (Sophomore, D - Rocky Point, N.Y.)
Taveras was stellar in the back end across the two wins this week for Saint Rose. She collected seven ground balls, won five draw controls, and caused four turnovers.
