NE10 Player of the Week

Lydia Rudden, Stonehill
Junior | Attack | Hopkinton, Mass.

Rudden totaled 18 points with seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in a 2-0 week for the No. 13/15-ranked Skyhawks. She also contributed four ground balls and a caused turnover for the week and converted 2-of-3 free-position shot attempts. Opened the week with eight points with three goals and five assists in Wednesday's 15-13 comeback win at No. 12/14 Pace, scoring the go-ahead goal with 2-minutes to play as Stonehill closed the game with a 5-0 run to erase its second three-goal deficit of the second half for the win. Matched her career-high with ten points on four goals and six assists in Saturday's 15-3 win at Saint Michael's, chipping in a team-high four ground balls.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Emma Sullivan, Stonehill
Senior | Midfield | Madison, Conn.

Sullivan led the No. 13/15 Skyhawks defensive effort that allowed 8.00 goals per game on 23.0 shots per game, including 16.5 shots on goal per game, while forcing 20.5 turnovers per game in a 2-0 week. She totaled 20 draw controls, seven caused turnovers and nine ground balls for the week, leading the Skyhawks possession game that produced a 33-21 advantage on draws for the week. Sullivan also contributed on the attack with six goals, including the 100th of her career, and an assist for seven points. She totaled nine draw controls, five caused turnovers and six ground balls, while netting a goal, in Wednesday's 15-13 comeback win at No. 12/14 Pace. Contributed 11 draws, three ground balls and two caused turnovers, with five goals and an assist for six points at Saint Michael's, scoring her 100th career goal in the 15-3 win.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Caela McCartney, Southern New Hampshire
Senior | Goalkeeper | Arvada, Colo.

McCartney stopped 21 of the 33 shots that came her way during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. She made five saves on eight attempts in the final 23:30 of Wednesday's 20-10 victory against AIC and then turned aside 16 of 25 bids in Saturday's 14-9 win at No. 21 New Haven.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Raegan Bailey, New Haven
Freshman | Attack | Cheshire, Conn.

Bailey closed out a two-game week with six goals while also adding five ground balls and 10 draw controls. The Cheshire, Conn. native opened up the week with four goals in a road win at Southern Connecticut in a midweek match-up before adding a pair in a weekend game against Southern New Hampshire. Against the Penmen, she also added four ground balls and six draw controls.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Emily Beier, Adelphi (Gr., A - West Islip, N.Y.)
Beier posted a team-leading nine points last week, as the #3 Adelphi women's lacrosse team remained unbeaten. In an NE10 matchup with Saint Rose, she dished out five assists and added a goal for six points while also winning two draw controls. Her shot on goal percentage against #10 Le Moyne registered perfect as she tallied two scores and one assist for three points.

Kailey Broderick, Adelphi (Sr, D - Greenlawn, N.Y.)
In a 2-0 week for Adelphi, Broderick cashed in on five caused turnovers, and seven ground balls, to anchor a defense that allowed only six goals. Against #10 Le Moyne, the grad student caused two turnovers and scooped up two ground balls to hold the Dolphins to their lowest scoring output this season.

Jenna Joseph, Assumption (Jr., A - Longmeadow, Mass.)
Joseph helped Assumption post two convincing victories over Franklin Pierce and Saint Rose this past week by filling the stat sheet and factoring into 13 of the team's 36 goals. She finished with 13 points on four goals and nine assists while also winning seven draws, picking up three ground balls, and causing a turnover. Joseph most notably tallied three goals, four assists, four draw controls, three ground balls, and a caused turnover in an 18-10 road win over Saint Rose on Saturday. 

Cara McCarthy, Bentley (Gr., M - Salem, N.H.)
McCarthy led the way for Bentley offensively as they went 2-0 with wins over St. Michael's and Southern Connecticut. She tallied three goals, one assist and four draw controls in a 21-2 win over the Purple Knights on April 13. McCarthy also notched her 100th career goal in that game. Two days later she had a season high six points on three goals and three assists to help the Falcons to a 18-9 win at Southern Connecticut. 

Morgan Baxendale, Franklin Pierce (Sr., A – Orchard Park, N.Y.)
Baxendale went for eight points, on four goals and four assists, in a 1-1 week for the Ravens. Recorded five shots on goal, snagged one ground ball and caused one turnover along the way. Had one goal and two assists in a loss at No. 18 Assumption on Wednesday. Went for 3-2-5 in a Senior Day win over AIC at home on Saturday.

Marina Skelly, New Haven (Sr., M - Ronkonkoma, N.Y.)
Skelly finished a two-game week with a team-best 10 points which came on a team-high eight goals and a pair of assists. In addition, she added a trio of ground balls and caused one turnover, all of that coming against Southern Connecticut when she also led the offense with seven points on five goals and two assists, with two of those goals coming on free possession shots. In the weekend match-up with Southern New Hampshire, the midfielder added another hat trick, her eighth of the season.

Kayla Conway, Pace (Sr., M - Wantagh, N.Y.)
Conway piloted the Setters' during their 1-1 week. The senior totaled eight goals and an assist, while also grabbing a team-high 14 draw controls. Conway was especially impressive during Pace's Saturday win at Saint Anselm when she registered a game-high six goals.

Shelby Cole, Southern N.H. (So., M - Gilford, N.H.)
Cole racked up 15 points on 10 goals and five assists, to go with five draw controls and a caused turnover, during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. Cole scored four times and handed out three assists in a 20-10 doubling-up of AIC on Wednesday and then scored a career-high six goals and dished a pair of helpers in a 14-9 win at 21st-ranked New Haven on Saturday. 

Sarah Faley, Stonehill (Fr, G - Mineola, N.Y.)
Posted an 8.57 goals against average and .500 save percentage while averaging 7.5 saves per game in a 2-0 week for the No. 13/15 Skyhawks. She also chipped in with a ground ball. Made six saves in Wednesday's 15-13 win at No. 12/14 Pace. Finished with nine stops, while yielding just two goals, in 45-minutes of play in Saturday's 15-3 win at Saint Michael's.
