NE10 Player of the Week
Michael Sosik, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Fiskdale, Mass.
Sosik shot a 79-72--149 (+5) to tie for fourth at the NCAA Regional Preview, hosted by Le Moyne. He was tied for the top NE10 finish in a 116-golfer field and helped Franklin Pierce to an NE10-best seventh-place finish in the tournament.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Jack Pepin, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Plaistow, N.H.
Pepin shot a 78 on day two and finished tied for 33rd at the NCAA East/Atlantic Regional Preview at Ravenwood Golf in Victory, N.Y. He finished at 10-over, 154 (76-78) for the tournament.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Tyler Birdd, Le Moyne (So. - Elma, N.Y.)
Birdd finished tied for first among NE10 golfers at the NCAA Regional Preview, shooting a 5-over, 149 (75-74) over two rounds to help Le Moyne earn a ninth-place finish. Birdd tied for fourth among all golfers in the tournament.
James Henry, Saint Anselm (Sr. - Reading, Mass.)
Henry led the Hawks in a dual match loss to Southern New Hampshire, carding a three-over 73 at Derryfield Country Club before ranking second out of the Saint Anselm student-athletes at the NCAA Regional Showcase over the weekend, finishing the event tied for 44th at 155 strokes.
Jeff Liss, SNHU (Jr. - Port St. Lucie, Fla.)
Liss carded a 77 (+5) in the final round and finished tied for 21st at 153 to help the Southern New Hampshire golf team to an 11th place finish at the NCAA East/Atlantic Regional Preview in Victor, N.Y.
