NE10 Player of the Week

Gina Hinckley, Franklin Pierce
Senior | 1B/3B | Lancaster, Mas

Gina Hinckley appeared in all four games for the Ravens this past week carrying the squad to a 3-1 record. The senior slashed .444/.545/1.111 (4-for-9) with two homers, seven RBI, four runs scored, and two walks. In the Ravens 6-1 win at Southern Connecticut State on Thursday, Hinckley belted a grand slam. She followed that up in the Ravens 6-5 comeback against Bentley on Saturday lining an opposite-field homer in the top of the third inning finishing the contest 2-for-4. Hinckley currently paces the NE10 in homers (3) and RBIs (11).


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Morgan Perry, Saint Anselm
Senior | Pitcher | Bethany, Conn.

Perry earned her second win of the season against American International on Wednesday, throwing a two-hit shutout while striking out 15 batters in the process. Perry was one strikeout away from tying her Sunday total of 16 against New Haven that tied the program record for single-game strikeouts. Perry claimed her 34th win in the past 35 appearances and is 2-0 this year with 31 strikeouts in 14 IP.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ashley Cangiano, Franklin Pierce

Ashley Cangiano appeared in three games for the Ravens going .500 (5-for-10) at the dish with three RBI, two triples, and two runs scored. During the Ravens 6-5 comeback win against Bentley, Cangiano hit the walk-off single up the middle to give her team the victory. In game two, she was 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs scored, and two RBI.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ally Muller, Adelphi (Sr., P, Hopewell Junction, N.Y.)
Ally Muller went 1-1 on the week, with 17 strikeouts over 13 innings pitched. Muller only walked two batters across two games. She was dominant against Southern Conn. tossing a complete game with just one earned run and ten strikeouts for the 2-1 victory.

Cyrenea, Zemaitis, Franklin Pierce (Sr., P, Goshen, Conn.)
Cyrena Zemaitis started two games in the circle for the Ravens this past week. The senior hurler went 2-0 across nine innings with 14 strikeouts (10.89 K/7) a 0.00 ERA and one complete game. In the Ravens 8-0 five-inning run-rule win over Bentley on Saturday, Zemaitis tossed a complete game shutout allowing only one hit while punching out seven batters. Zemaitis is tied for the NE10 lead in wins (4).

Mackenzie Garrick, Pace (Sr., P, South River, N.J.)
Garrick went 1-1 in a pair of complete-game efforts for Pace last week. The senior right-hander struck out four, while posting an ERA of 2.50 across 14.0 innings of work.

Alexandra Monteleone, Pace (Gr., Inf., Cold Spring, N.Y.)
Monteleone led Pace's offense during their four games last week. The graduate student tallied a 5-for-9 stretch with a run scored and a stolen base. Monteleone currently leads the Setters in batting this season, posting an average of .500 in 20 at-bats.

Erin Thompson, Saint Anselm (Sr. OF, Newton, N.H.)
In game one, Thompson led the Hawks with three hits and three runs batted in to help Saint Anselm earn the victory. Thompson has now posted two three-hit games in the 2021 campaign. She tied her career-high, single-game RBI mark with three, dating back to her freshman and sophomore years.

Jaqueline Dumont, Southern Conn. (Jr., C, Nashua, N.H.)
The junior was solid for the Owls through four games played batting .417 and slugging .583 including two doubles and two RBI. She led the Owls in their game against Franklin Pierce going, 2-for-3 including a RBI double that led them to a 1-0 victory.

Chloe Griffin, Southern N.H. (Sr., DH, Scarborough, Maine)
Griffin lead the Penmen offensively through the first week of the season. She had six hits in 14 AB. Also was the winning pitcher Saturday in SNHU's first win of the season over Stonehill.

Julia Perrone, Stonehill (Sr., 1B/P, North Reading, Mass.)
Perrone appeared in both games for the Skyhawks as a pitcher and a batter, as Stonehill split the doubleheader with Southern N.H. The senior pitcher threw 4.0 total innings allowing just 4 hits and no runs. Perrone earned her second save of the season and third of her career in a 5-4 victory. At the plate, Perrone went 2-for-6 with her second double of the season, 4th of her career and 2 RBI. She also walked once averaging .333 at the dish.
