NE10 Player of the Week

Madi Killebrew, Franklin Pierce
Graduate Student | 3B/SS | Dana Point, Calif.

Killebrew appeared in all six games for the Ravens this past week, leading her team to a 5-1 record. The graduate third baseman slashed .545/.600/1.000 with two homers, six RBI, four doubles, eight runs scored, and two walks. In the 8-0 win at Stonehill on Tuesday she was 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored. In the 9-6 victory versus SNHU on Saturday, Killebrew bashed two doubles with one RBI and scored three runs. In the 1-1 doubleheader on Sunday, she went a combined 6-for-9 at the plate and belted a walk-off three-run homer in a nine-inning 8-5 win in game two.


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Ava Fitzmaurice, New Haven
Junior | Pitcher | Greenville, N.Y.

In a six-game week, Fitzmaurice scored a decision in all six games, earning a 5-0 record and a save in the circle. The junior threw 27.2 innings and allowed a single earned run for a 0.25 earned run average while striking out 20 batters, an average of just over five per seven innings. Also during the week, Fitzmaurice was named as one of the nine Division II "Pitchers to Watch" as the season heads towards its national championship conclusion. In addition to her work in the circle, Fitzmaurice finished with a .500 batting average, scattering 10 hits, including two doubles and a home run while driving in a pair of runs.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ciana Phillips, Saint Rose
Sophomore (First Year Player) | Outfield | Albany, N.Y.

Phillips slashed .571/.592/.762 across six games last week. The sophomore outfielder, who had three multi-hit performances, recorded six runs scored, four doubles and two RBI. Phillips was 4-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI and a run scored on Wednesday vs. Adelphi.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ally Muller, Adelphi (Sr., P - Hopewell Junction, N.Y.)
Muller went 3-0 on the week for Adelphi. She totaled 25 strikeouts over 19 innings pitched. All three of her victories were shutout performances, for a 0.00 ERA on the week.

Emily Whitman, Adelphi (Jr., UT - Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.)
Whitman went 9-for-20 at the plate for a .450 batting and .750 slugging percentage. She tallied three triples over six games to go along with seven runs scored and two RBI.

Payton Doiron, Bentley (Fr., P - Beacon Falls, Conn.)
Against Assumption, Doiron carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning and finished with a one-hitter as Bentley edged the Hounds, 1-0, in the Falcons' regular season finale. She walked three, hit a batter and struck out six while earning her first career shutout.

Nahtali Simpson, New Haven (Jr., INF/OF - West Orange, N.J.)
Simpson finished a 6-0 week for New Haven with a .474 batting average, scattering nine hits across 19 at bats with three RBI. Among her nine hits was a two doubles and a triple, while she also had a trio of walks and scored nine runs. Simpson also stole two bases last week. Among the highlights for Simpson was finishing a doubleheader sweep of American International going 6-of-7 at the plate with all three of her RBI in that doubleheader.

Kaylani Miller, Pace (Fr., INF - Los Angeles, Calif.)
Miller continued her sensational freshman season with another great stretch last week. The California native led the Setters with a .421 batting average across six contests. She also tallied seven RBIs and four runs scored, while posting a .632 slugging percentage. Miller launched a grand slam at New Haven on Saturday, which marked her third home run of the season.

Morgan Perry, Saint Anselm (Sr., P - Bethany, Conn.)
Perry led the nationally-ranked Hawks to a Northeast Division Title after sweeping the season series over Stonehill. Against the Skyhawks in the final weekend of the NE10 regular season, Perry was brilliant once again. Over seven innings of work, she allowed three hits and two walks, striking out 13 batters. In her 13th game of the season, Perry fired a one-hitter, striking out five batters on Friday. The next day, she pitched in three innings, striking out eight batters, earning herself the 14th win of the season.

Margaret Kelley, Saint Rose (Fr., P - Brunswick, N.Y.)
Kelley went 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA last week. The rookie right-hander permitted just one run across 12 innings vs. Southern Connecticut State. For the week, she allowed just two earned runs during three appearances totaling 17 innings.
