NE10 Announces Men's Swimming & Diving Major Awards

Bentley, Pace, Southern Connecticut Earn Major Awards


MANSFIELD, Mass. – Bentley, Pace and Southern Connecticut each earned a major award as the Northeast-10 announces the men's swimming & diving awards on Monday.

McAllistar Milne was honored as the Swimmer of the Year while Sean Rorke took home Diver of the Year honors. Tim Quill was named Swimming Coach of the Year and Dylan Korn earned Diving Coach of the Year recognition, with both the Pace and SCSU programs earning two awards each. Bentley's Carter Ferrara was tabbed Rookie of the Year. 

Milne won three events at the NE10 Championships, winning all three of his individual events. He took gold in the 500 freestyle (4:33.07), 400 IM (3:54.45) and 200 breaststroke (2:03.17). He also swam on two gold medal relay teams - the 400 freestyle relay (3:03.49) and NE10 record-setting 800 freestyle relay (6:41.44). Milne also finished 18th at the 2023 NCAA Championships in the 400 IM. 

Rorke swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the NE10 Championship and was named Outstanding Diver of the Meet. He won the 1-meter and 3-meter both by over 30 points with scores of 416.80 (1-meter) and 467.55 (3-meter). Rorke also competed in the NCAA Championship Qualifier. 

Ferrara was part of Bentley's first-place 200 free relay team (1:22.97) and on the second-place 400 free relay team (3:03.77). He also placed sixth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.27. 

Quill led the Owls to their 15th NE10 Championship and second-straight title. Korn earned his first Diving Coach of the Year after leading Rorke to NE10 Titles in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.
