SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – The NCAA announced its 2013 Division II Women's Basketball Championship field via an online selection show on Sunday night, with four Northeast-10 Conference receiving bids to compete for the national title.

Bentley University (28-1), fresh off claiming its third straight Northeast-10 Championship Sunday afternoon, was named the top seed of the NCAA East Regional and will host the eight-team tournament at the Dana Center in Waltham, Mass. beginning Friday, March 15 with quarterfinal play.

Bentley, currently ranked third in the country, will take on eighth–seeded LIU Post (19-9) in the quarters (6:00 p.m.).

Stonehill College (23-4) received the second seed for the upcoming East Regional, while Franklin Pierce University (18-10) earned the seventh seed. The two Northeast-10 counterparts will square off against one another on Friday in Waltham at 2:30 p.m.

The Skyhawks are currently ranked No. 12 in the nation and a few weeks ago handed Bentley its only loss of the 2012-13 season.

The Ravens were the No. 5 seed in the Northeast-10 Championship, where they knocked off fourth-seeded University of Massachusetts Lowell on the road before falling to Bentley in the semis.

Assumption College (22-7) was awarded the fifth seed and draws fourth–seeded Holy Family (22-7) on Friday (8:30 p.m.) in Waltham. The Greyhounds advanced to Sunday's Northeast-10 title game, where they fell to the Falcons.

Third-seeded Dowling (25-3) and sixth-seeded NYIT (23-5) will meet in the early quarterfinal game on Friday, with tipoff at noon.
