Saint Rose Wins Regular Season Championship; Women's Soccer Bracket Released

Golden Knights Earn Top Seed with Unbeaten Record. 


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The defending regular season and tournament champion Saint Rose has won the Northeast-10 Conference regular season championship, as the league office announced the Women's Soccer Championship bracket on Wednesday night. It is the second time in the past four seasons the Golden Knights have outright won the regular season title.

Saint Rose (16-0-1, 10-0-1 NE10) has played in the NE10 Championship final 11 times since 2007, winning 10 of them. The Golden Knights are now ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Rankings and have completed a second consecutive undefeated regular season Wednesday night with a win over Adelphi.

Adelphi (10-2-4, 7-1-3 NE10) will be the two seed in this year's tournament. The Panthers were the NE10 Championship finalists last season, are poised to make another run, and were most recently ranked No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches rankings.

The NE10 Championship quarterfinals are scheduled for Sunday, November 5, and will be hosted by the four highest seeds- Saint Rose, Adelphi, Southern New Hampshire (No. 3) and Franklin Pierce (No. 4). 

The NE10 Championship semifinals will be on Thursday, November 9, while the Championship final is set for Sunday, November 12. Both the semifinals and final will be hosted by the highest remaining seeds. All rounds of the Championship will be streamed live on NE10NOW.tv

Postseason admission in all rounds of NE10 fall championships will be $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children. Current NE10 students, with valid ID, will be admitted free of charge.
