Saint Rose with League-High Three Players Selected.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Rose's Mia Klammer was named the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) National Player of the Year, highlighting All-Amerca honors announced by the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches this week for women's soccer.

Klammer led a group of four NE10 players from Adelphi and Saint Rose to earn All-America honors, while winning the most prestigious award herself with National Player of the Year recognition. Following her selections as D2CCA East Region Player of the Year and NE10 Player of the Year, Klammer completes the trifecta with her D2CCA selection. She was also named a First Team All-American for both D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches.

Saint Rose's Elina Seppala - who earned dual Second Team All-America honors - and Sanna Rein - who was recognized with a pair of Third Team All-America nods - joined Klammer with All-America status. Adelphi's Morgan Salmon, the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, was a Second Team All-American, according to both organizations.

Klammer becomes the second player in Saint Rose women's soccer history to earn National Player of the Year, following Carmelina Puopolo in 2011 and 2012. She finished first in NCAA Division II this season with 53 points and helped the Golden Knights to an unbeaten record of 20-0-2 - the first team in Saint Rose program history to register at least 20 wins without a defeat.

It is the fourth-straight season that Saint Rose has produced at least one First Team All-American, including the second-consecutive year that Klammer has earned the distinction.
