NE10 Releases Academic All-Conference Teams for Spring Season

MANSFIELD, Mass. – On Thursday afternoon, the Northeast-10 Conference released its Academic All-Conference teams for the 2024 spring season, as the league recognized 135 student-athletes from 10 sports for their excellence in both academic and athletic settings. 

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

  • Started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions as a significant contributor.
  • Achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) or better on a 4.0 scale.

All 12 NE10 institutions had at least one student-athlete selected to the Academic All-Conference teams. For a full list of honorees, please CLICK HERE.

Adelphi had a league-high 19 selections, while Franklin Pierce was a close second with 18 honorees. Nine different NE10 institutions had a double-digit number of selections, including Southern New Hampshire with 15, Bentley with 13 and New Haven with 13 to round-out the top five. 

Women's lacrosse led all spring sports with 24 student-athletes honored, while women's outdoor track & field had 21 and men's outdoor track & field had 20. Baseball and softball each had 18, respectively. 

Among the 135 student-athletes, 43 of them are being honored for the second time and 16 are being recognized as Academic All-Conference for the third time in their careers - including NE10 Man of the Year Connor Everidge (Franklin Pierce men's outdoor track & field), NE10 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year Ryan Walker (Franklin Pierce men's outdoor track & field) and NE10 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Kelsey Seamans (SNHU women's outdoor track & field). 

The NE10 had 15 Player of the Year winners on the Academic All-Conference teams: Adelphi's Katherine Marsh (Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year), New Haven's Kristen Washington (Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year), Assumption's Sean Magarian (Men's Golf Player of the Year), Franklin Pierce's Kesinee Prukmathakul (Women's Golf Player of the Year), Adelphi's Marko Jovanovic (Men's Tennis Vern Cox Player of the Year), SNHU's Alina Kupfer (Women's Tennis Vern Cox Player of the Year), Pace's Dan Brown (Baseball Southwest Division Pitcher of the Year), SCSU's Jessica Perucki (Softball Player of the Year), Pace's Gisselle Garcia (Softball Pitcher of the Year), Adelphi's Angela Lignelli (Softball Defensive Player of the Year), Saint Anselm's Ryan Slattery (Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year), Bentley's Maeve Johnson (Women's Lacrosse Attacker of the Year), Pace's Alexandra Quinn (Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year), Pace's Angelina Porcello (Women's Lacrosse Midfielder of the Year) and Pace's Samantha Tanguay (Women's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Year).
