NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Jake Cady, Assumption 
Senior | Quarterback | Saint Johnsbury, Vt.

Cady went 23-for-30 with 334 yards and five touchdown passes while also adding eight rushes for 32 yards and another score in No. 23 Assumption University's 42-29 win at Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.  His scoring strikes covered 35, 25, 29, 28 and 22 yards. In two games this season, Cady has 517 yards passing with eight touchdowns to just one interception while also posting a 72.13 completion percentage. He currently is third in NCAA Division II in touchdown passes (8).

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Giye Jenkins, New Haven
Junior | Defensive Back | West Orange, N.J.

Jenkins helped lead a defensive unit that held Bentley's offense without a touchdown in a 14-13 UNH win under the lights in Waltham. For the game, Jenkins finished with six tackles, including a half tackle for loss while picking off his second INT of the season, returning this one for 28 yards into Bentley territory.

NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Tajon Vassar, Bentley
Graduate Student | Cornerback | Worcester, Mass.

Vassar set a school record with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on Saturday night against New Haven. The TD return came on the opening kickoff of the 2nd half. The previous school record was a 97-yard return against Assumption in 2019. He had two returns and totaled 109 yards (54.5 average) in the 14-13 loss to New Haven.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Joziah Gonzalez, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Wide Receiver | Meriden, Conn.

In Gonzalez's debut with the Ravens, he brought in 11 receptions for 178 yards in the team's 27-24 loss to American International. He averaged 16.2 yards per reception.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Cephas Williams, American Int'l (Gr., QB - Milton, Fla.)
Williams made big pass after big pass in AIC's win against Franklin Pierce. On just 17 completions, he generated 368 yards, with four touchdown passes including a back-of-the-end-zone ball to Jaheim McGuire late in the fourth for the game-winning score. Three of his throws went for more than 50 yards.

Dion Kuinlan, Assumption (Sr., DB - Bethpage, N.Y.)
Kuinlan recorded eight tackles, one sack and had one fumble return for 26 yards in Assumption's 42-29 win at Southern Connecticut. 

Tyreice Dominique, Franklin Pierce (So., WR - Rocky Hill, Conn.)
For the Ravens, Dominique has been a force for special teams. In this weekend's marathon game - a 27-24 loss to AIC - Dominique tallied 127 yards on kick returns (42.3 average) and one touchdown on a 95-yard return.

Kevin Foelsch, New Haven (Sr., TE - Ramsey, N.J.)
Foelsh led the Chargers offense with a team-best four catches for 62 yards. Among his four completions was a 15-yard third quarter completion in the back of the end zone for what turned out to be the game-winning TD in a 14-13 win against the Falcons. 

Kieran Falzon, Southern Conn. St. (Fr., RB - Hazlet, N.J.)
Falzon had a impactful debut for the Owls with a two-touchdown performance against nationally ranked No. 23 Assumption. Falzon had 11 carries for 74 yards including a 58 yard run with the Owls' trailing 14-0 that led to Southern's first score of the game. He also had two catches for 42 yards including a 36-yard touchdown reception that tied the game at 14-14 in the second quarter
