NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Nasir Robinson, Pace
Sophomore | Running Back | Penns Grove, N.J.

Robinson was unstoppable for the Setters offense in a 38-7 victory over Post, taking 14 carries for 176 yards, averaging 12.6 yards per carry and scoring one touchdown. Robinson broke free for a 65 yard run as part of his dominant afternoon.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Salvatore Lupoli, Jr., Bentley
Graduate | Linebacker | Chelmsford, Mass.

Lupoli had a huge game with 20 tackles and two sacks in a 24-17 loss at Saint Anselm. He had 13 solo tackles, and 3.5 tackles for a loss that totaled 23 yards. Lupoli's career-high 20 tackles is the most tackles by any NCAA Division II player this season. He is currently tied for the NCAA Division II lead in tackles per game (11.8). 


NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Joseph MacDougall, Assumption
Senior | Defensive Lineman | Kittery, Me.

MacDougall recorded his fourth block in the last three games; his field goal block in the second quarter turned what would be a 10-0 game into a 17-0 game, as Shakeer McPherson returned the block 86 yards for a scoop and score. On the defensive side, he only had two tackles, but he added two pass breakups, one tackle for a loss, and eight quarterback pressures.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Drew Forkner, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Quarterback | Plano, Texas

Forkner had an impressive performance for the Hawks on Saturday completing 19 passes on 27 attempts for 187 yards to help Saint Anselm defeat Bentley, 24-17, for the first since 2014. He produced three passing touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Falcons along with 15 rush attempts for a season-high 10 yards.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Jake Cady, Assumption (Sr., QB - Saint Johnsbury, Vt.)
Cady accounted for 186 total yards and three touchdowns in Assumption's 38-14 win over American International College. On his two passing touchdowns, he connected with Gavin Johnson on plays of 8 and 35 yards. Cady had one rushing score on the afternoon, as he took a read option 50-yards to the house, to seal the win for the Greyhounds.

Harrison Barjolo, Franklin Pierce (Jr., DB - Worcester, Mass.)
During the team's historic win over SCSU, the Owls were at midfield with one minute left on the clock. During the drive, Barjolo forced a fumble that sparked the Ravens game winning drive that was capped off by a field goal kick with zero seconds on the clock. 

Nolan Startzell, Franklin Pierce (Jr., K - Scituate, Mass.)
Startzell helped Franklin Pierce football make history this week. At the end of the game with just one second on the clock, he kicked the game winning field goal. The victory marks the program's first home conference game win and home Division II win. 

Jack Chandler, New Haven (Gr., QB - Oviedo, Fla.)
In his second straight game under center for the Chargers, Chandler led his team to a 38-0 shutout of the Lincoln University Oaklanders. For the game, Chandler finished 10-of-16 with 189 yards including the longest TD of the season for the Chargers, an 88 yard completion to Javon Turner. Among his 10 completions were three for TD, the one to Turner and one each to TE's Kevin Foelsch and Zoltan Panyi.

Joe Vitale, New Haven (Sr., LB - North Haven, Conn.)
Vitale was one of three Chargers to lead the way with six total tackles in the Chargers shutout of Lincoln, splitting those tackles down the middle with three solo stops. The highlight for Vitale was that two of those tackles went for loss for a total of 29 yards, with one of them a sack for a nine yard loss. 

Anthony Brown, Saint Anselm (Sr., WR - Belton, Texas)
Brown caught his first two touchdowns of the season on Saturday to lift Saint Anselm to a 24-17 victory over Bentley for the first time since 2014. The two touchdown receptions were his only two catches on the day for a total of 36 yards including a 34-yard reception to even the score in the fourth quarter. Brown now ranks second on the team in receiving touchdowns. 

Will Klein, Saint Anselm (Sr., DB - Abington, Mass.)
The senior defensive back registered seven unassisted tackles and two assisted for a total of 9 in the team's 24-17 win over Bentley. The senior also had 2.5 tackles for loss. 

Devin Wood, Saint Anselm (Sr., DB - Merrimack, N.H.)
Logged eight punts for 307 yards, 38.4 yard average punt. He had one punt inside the 20, one punt of 50+ yards, and a fourth-down fake punt conversion in the fourth quarter for 12 yards. He also made 4 tackles and recovered a fumble on defense.

Tylon Papallo, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., WR - Meriden, Conn.)
The NE10's top wide receiver had his best game of the season at Franklin Pierce, finishing with six catches for a season-best 142 yards. Papallo had catches of 44 yards and 37 yards, the latter of which went for a touchdown to give Southern a 14-7 lead.
