NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Hunter Cobb, New Haven
Graduate Student | Running Back | Sandy Hook, Conn.

Cobb led the Chargers offense with 113 rushing yards on 25 carries with just one for loss and three touchdowns in a 33-14 win over AIC. His three scores came from six, 16 and six yards, respectively while he was the only rusher to top 100 yards.

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Joe DiGello, Southern Connecticut
Junior | Linebacker | Orange, Conn.

DiGello returned to the Owls lineup after missing Southern's matchup against Bentley last week and finished with a team-high 10 tackles, with two sacks and three quarterback hurries while also forcing a fumble as the Owls picked up their first win of the season, 6-3, against Saint Anselm.

NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Joseph MacDougall, Assumption
Senior | Defensive Lineman | Kittery, Me.

MacDougall has been a menace in the opposing kicking game all year, as he logged his third blocked kick of the year in Assumption's 36-22 win over Pace. Defensively, he added four tackles and two pass breakups to his stat line.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Owen Fitzgerald, Assumption
Sophomore (Rookie Eligible) | Linebacker | Auburn, Mass.

Fitzgerald logged a game-high 12 tackles in Assumption's 36-22 home win over Pace on Saturday. He currently ranks second in the conference with 8.8 tackles per game.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Jake Cady, Assumption (Sr., QB - Saint Johnsbury, Vt.)
Cady went 16-for-26 through the air for 192 yards and three touchdowns in Assumption's 36-22 win over Pace on Saturday. He also racked up 49 yards on the ground, including a 25-yard scamper. His 16 completions were to nine different receivers and he had touchdown throws of 32, 33, and 9 yards. Cady currently paces the NE10 in completion percentage (67.8), yards per game (219.3), touchdowns (12), and passing efficiency (154.8).

Lorenzo Valencia, Assumption (Sr., LB - Ruskin, Fla.)
Valencia stuffed the stat sheet in Assumption's 36-22 win over Pace on Saturday. He logged seven tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss, and forced a pair of fumbles, including one in the final minutes that was recovered by Jaron Wilson and ran back 73 yards for the game's final score.

David Abolarinwa, New Haven (Jr., DL - New Bedford, Mass.)
Abolarinwa helped lead the Chargers defense which allowed his team to score 33 unanswered points en route to a 3-0 record in the NE10 with a road win at AIC. For the game, Abolarinwa finished with three total tackles, but it was his success behind the line of scrimmage that was the highlight as all three of those tackles were for loss which resulted in a total of 21 yards, while two of those tackles went in the book as sacks - part of six total for the Chargers.

Andrew Albertelli, Pace (R-Sr., DB - Old Bethpage, N.Y.)
Albertelli recorded five tackles and returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's 36-22 loss to No. 23 Assumption.

Brandon Sobotker, Pace (Gr., RB - West Babylon, N.Y.)
Sobotker had 18 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 36-22 loss to No. 23 Assumption.

Tylon Papallo, So. Connecticut (Sr., WR - Meriden, Conn.)
Papallo entered the game as questionable and didn't play in the first half. In the second half, he made six catches for a team-high 82 yards including a 21-yard touchdown to put the Owls in front. Papallo also had a 17-yard reception on the drive that set up Southern's lone score of the day.
