NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Mark Waid, Bentley
Graduate Student | Quarterback | Cortland, Ohio
Waid totaled five touchdowns during Bentley's 62-12 win at AIC - three by air and two on the ground. He completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 174 yards, and ran for 67 yards on 15 carries.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Max Tempchin, Saint Anselm
Senior | Defensive Line | Silver Springs, Md.
Tempchin helped lead the Hawks to an upset shutout victory over No. 21 Assumption on Saturday, recording 13 total tackles, one sack, two TFLs, and a forced fumble. As a team, the Hawks held Assumption to just six first downs and 73 yards rushing. The Hawks also forced seven fumbles in the contest, recovering two.
NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week
Mason Campbell, Bentley
Senior | Kicker | Naples, Fla.
Campbell tied a school record by making four field goals during Bentley's win at AIC. His longest make for the game was 46 yards. He also went 6-for-7 on PATs, totaling 18 points in the game.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Owen Fitzgerald, Assumption
Sophomore (Rookie Eligible) | Linebacker | Auburn, Mass.
Fitzgerald did his part on Saturday, making eight tackles and recording a pass breakup in Assumption's loss to Saint Anselm.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Salvatore Lupoli Jr., Bentley (Gr., LB - Chelmsford, Mass.)
The two-time reigning NE10 Defensive Player of the Week came away with his first interception of the season during Bentley's win at AIC, to go along with five tackles.
Jalen Johnson, Pace (R-Fr., DB - Ansonia, Conn.)
Johnson was tremendous on defense for Pace, intercepting a pass in the end zone and recovering a fumble in regulation. In triple overtime, he picked off a pass to deny the Owls the win on that attempt.
Tyreek Smith, Pace (R-Jr., DB/WR - Stratford, Conn.)
Smith took the opening kick 100 yards back for a touchdown against Southern Connecticut State. On his other return of the day, he took it 31 yards.
Devin Wood, Saint Anselm (Sr., DB - Merrimack, N.H.)
Wood recorded seven punts for the Hawks during Saturday's 14-0 upset over No. 21 Assumption. He punted for a total of 297-yards, averaging 42.4, including a season-high four punts inside the 20-yard line. His longest punt of the game came at the start of the third quarter punting for 46 yards.
E'Lijah Gray, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., RB - Somers Point, N.J.)
Gray had a day at Pace, racking up 182 total yards as the Owls pulled off a five-overtime win, 25-23, against the Setters. Gray pounded out 121 yards on 27 carries with a pair of touchdowns while he also had nine catches for 61 yards. It was Gray's third game of 120 yards-or-more rushing in his last four games and the second time he topped 60 yards receiving while his nine catches were a season-best. Gray ranks fourth in the NE10 in total yards (547), yards per game (68.4) and rushing touchdowns (4).
Jahlil Watson, Southern Conn. St. (Gr., LB - Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Watson was a menace at Pace, totaling eight tackles and two sacks as the Owls held the Setters' offense to just 149 yards on the day.
