NE10 Player of the Week
Krista Dietz, Pace
Junior l Forward l Mahopac, N.Y.
Dietz was unstoppable this week, opening the week with an 11 point (5 goals and one assist) against New Haven, shattering Pace's single game record and the five goals are the most by any player in the nation in a single game. She followed it up with two goals and one assist against AIC.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Crowell
Junior | Back | Oakland, Maine
Crowell helped Bentley to a 2-0 week with a pair of shutouts and a goal for herself. Bentley allowed just two shots on goal total in wins over Southern Conn and Adelphi. She scored a penalty stroke goal in the 4th quarter against Adelphi to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Paige Gillette, Assumption
Junior | Goalkeeper | Andover, Mass.
Gillette recorded 11 saves and supported a 1.00 GAA and a 0.846 save percentage in a 2-0 week for Assumption, as the Greyhounds ran their winning streak to 11 games. At Southern New Hampshire, she logged nine saves in the cage as Assumption won 3-2. On Saturday against STAC, she recorded her conference-leading eighth shutout and 11th win of the year.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
May van Woudenberg
Freshman | Midfielder | Oosterbeek, The Netherlands
May van Woundenberg continued her stellar freshman campaign as she helped the Greyhounds extend their winning streak to 11 games with a pair of wins this week. Van Woundenberg logged an assist in Assumption's 3-2 win at Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday before scoring both goals in the Greyhounds' 2-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Callie Beauparlant, Assumption (Jr., M - Newburyport, Mass.)
Beauparlant had a crucial role in Assumption's 3-2 win at SNHU on Tuesday. Her defensive save in the opening moments of the second quarter kept the game scoreless. That DS was a minute before Mia Salah opened the scoring for the Greyhounds. On Saturday, Beauparlant led a defensive effort that recorded the eight shutout of the year.
Victoria Devlin, Mercy (Sr., B - West Islip, N.Y.)
Devlin recorded a key defensive save in the second half of Mercy's come-from-behind win over STAC on Wednesday.
Kate Ringstad, Mercy (Sr., M - Woodstock, Md.)
Ringstad had a team-high four goals and nine points on the week as Mercy went 2-0. The senior had three goals, including the game-winning goal in overtime, in Mercy's 5-4 win over STAC on Wednesday. Ringstad added a goal and an assist in the win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
Ally Saigh, New Haven (Sr., GK Grosse Point Woods, Mich.)
Saigh made an appearance in both of the Chargers games last week, earning a victory in her second appearance, a 45-minute outing against Saint Michael's on senior day at DellaCamera Stadium. Overall for the week, Saigh racked up 18 saves, including 15 against the Purple Knights as her team erased a two-goal deficit to win 5-3.
Kat Trammel, New Haven (Sr. F - Sandy Hook, Conn.)
Trammel finished a 1-1 week for the Chargers with five points on a pair of goals and an assist. She opened up the week with a goal on the road at Pace and wrapped up the week with a goal and an assist in a home win over Saint Michael's.
Celeste Pagliaroli, Pace (Fr., GK - Yorktown Heights, N.Y.)
Appearing in just under 100 minutes in a 2-0 week for Pace, Pagliaroli only conceded two goals, including a clean 45 minutes against AIC. Over the two games, she stopped seven shots.
Abbey Bevens, Saint Anselm (Sr. F - Pelham, N.H.)|
Bevens notched two goals this week for the Hawks to help the team improve to a 9-2 conference record. She recorded her second two-goal game this year against Molloy University on Saturday to propel Saint Anselm to a 4-2 win over the Lions. She is the team leader in goals with nine this season, tied for eighth overall in the league.
Mackenzie McConnell, Saint Anselm (Sr., GK - Concord Twp, Maine)
McConnell posted her third shutout of the season on Wednesday for Saint Anselm against American International College. She registered 2 saves in the game to help cement the 1-0 win over the Yellow Jackets. McConnell also made seven saves versus Molloy University on Saturday to seal second conference victory of the week and improve Saint Anselm's league record to 9-2.
Bridgie Loughlin, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Kingston, N.Y.)
Loughlin scored twice in all three games last week. She netted the 26th minute game-winner in a 4-2 win at Molloy on Monday, scored twice in two minutes vs. Franklin Pierce and scored the second and third goals at New Haven on Saturday.
Annemartine Christis, SNHU (Jr., F - Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands)
Christis tallied three goals and added an assist for seven points in SNHU's 1-1 week. On Saturday, in the win over Southern Connecticut, Christis had two goals and an assist. Her 24 career assists are the most in SNHU program history.
