NFHCA Honors 120 NE10 Field Hockey Student-Athletes

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The NFHCA has announced the achievements of 383 undergraduate student-athletes from 34 NCAA DII institutions, each earning a spot on the 2023 Division II National Academic Squad.  The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors the academic excellence of undergraduate collegiate student-athletes across the field hockey landscape.

Recognition is given to student-athletes achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of the current academic year and nominated by their dedicated NFHCA member coaches.

Throughout the NE10, 120 field hockey student-athletes earned this distinction this fall. Pace claims the most honors with 17 recognized Setters, followed by 14 from Adelphi and 12 from New Haven.

Across the country, 61 student-athletes earned the honor for the fourth consecutive year.

The NE10 is an association of 12 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
