The College of Saint Rose junior center Dominykas Milka (pictured) recorded a double-double to help lead the 10th-seeded Golden Knights to their second consecutive upset win of the 2013 Northeast-10 Confernece Men's Basketball Championship, as they defeated second-seeded Assumption College, 67-64, on the road.

The Hawks used a 23-11 advantage at the free throw line to help lead them to the semifinal round, where they will host fourth-seeded Franklin Pierce University Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

#10 Saint Rose 67, #2 Assumption 64 – BOX
For the second straight game, the upset-minded Golden Knights scored 67 points and made some big shots late to advance to the next round of the 2013 Men's Basketball Championship.

Led by 15 points and 12 rebounds from Milka, an All-Conference First Team member, Saint Rose advanced to the semifinal round, where they will travel to sixth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. Milka was one of four Golden Knights in double figures in the game, which was close throughout.

#6 So. New Hampshire 79, #3 New Haven 75 (OT) - BOX
So.n New Hampshire outscored New Haven 10-6 in the extra frame to earn the upset win over the Chargers Sundaty afternoon in New Haven, Conn.  The Penmen win, coupled with Saint Rose's upset of Assumption, means that So. New Hampshire hosts Wednesday evening.

So. New Hampshire had six players score between 11 and 15 points and shot 53 percent from the floor en route to the win. New Haven's Eric Anderson and Justin Exum each had 17 points for the Chargers in the loss.  New Haven most likely will be a member of the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball East Regional field when the selections are announced next Sunday, March 10.

#4 Franklin Pierce 85, #5 So. Connecticut 80 - BOX
Franklin Pierce's terrific trio of Ellis Cooper, Eric Jean-Guillaume, and Ryen Vilmont combined for 54 points and 25 rebounds in helping lead the Ravens to the five-point win.  With the victory, Franklin Pierce advances to the semifinal round, and they will head to Manchester, N.H. to take on in-state rival Saint Anselm Wednesday night.

So. Connecticut's Greg Langston led all scorers with 31 points, including six three-pointers, but it was not enough as the Owls see their season close at 17-10.  So. Connecticut is very much on the bubble for the upcoming NCAA Division II Championships and will hope their season continues when the field is announced next Sunday.
