Jean-Guillaume, Mabrey Collect Men's Basketball All-America Honors

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Franklin Pierce University senior Eric Jean-Guillaume and Saint Anselm College sophomore Roy Mabrey have been named to the 2013 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-America Team, it was announced on Wednesday. 

Jean-Guillaume (pictured), who received Northeast-10 Player of the Year honors for the second straight season, also earned All-America recognition in 2011-12. He helped lead the Ravens to the Northeast-10 Championship as well as the NCAA Division II East Regional championship. 

The senior will take the court Thursday at 12:00 p.m. as Franklin Pierce takes on Metro State in Louisville, Ky. in the Elite Eight. To view the game at no cost online, please click HERE.

Jean-Guillaume has averaged 16.3 points on 48 percent shooting from the floor this year, and has topped the 20-point threshold on eight occassions in 2012-13.

Mabrey helped lead the Hawks to the Northeast-10 regular-season title in addition to the No. 2 seed at the NCAA East Regional. He averaged 17.4 points and 5.1 rebounds this season for Saint Anselm. 

The Northeast-10 is an association of 16 NCAA Division II colleges and universities located in New England and New York that are committed to supporting balanced academic and athletic opportunities for more than 6,000 student-athletes. Each year, 4,000 of those student-athletes compete in Conference championships in 23 sports, making the NE-10 the largest DII conference in the country.
