NE10 Player of the Week
Aleya Corretjer, Pace
Graduate Student | Midfield | Thiells, N.Y.
Corretjer tallied 15 points in a 2-0 week for the Setters, which included a 19-8 win over No. 4 Tampa. She accounted for nine points against Tampa, including two goals and seven assists to go with two ground balls. In a 20-16 win over Saint Rose, she added six more points - with five goals to her credit, as well as one ground ball and one caused turnover. Corretjer had seven goals and eight assists on the week.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Angelina Porcello, Pace
Junior | Midfield | Eastchester, N.Y.
Porcello accounted for five points (two goals, three assists), eight ground balls, 22 draw controls and four caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for Pace, which included a 19-8 win over No. 4 Tampa. In the victory against Tampa, she had 13 draw controls to go with five ground balls, two caused turnovers and two points (one goal, one assist).
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Ashlee Wargo, Bentley
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Madison, Conn.
Wargo helped lead Bentley to two wins over ranked teams down in Florida, 13-12 over No. 18 Saint Leo and 17-16 over No. 2 Florida Southern, both in overtime. She made a season high 14 saves in the win over Florida Southern, including a save on a free-position shot with one second left in regulation to send the game to overtime. Wargo made 10 saves in the victory over St. Leo.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Katie Long, Pace
Freshman | Defense | Camillus, N.Y.
Long accounted for three goals, two ground balls, three draw controls and one caused turnover in a 2-0 week for Pace. She scored a goal and won two draw controls in a 19-8 victory over No. 4 Tampa, while adding a pair of goals in a 20-16 win against Saint Rose.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Kelly-Ann McGrath, Adelphi (Jr., A - Franklin Square, N.Y.)
In addition to her pair of goals, McGrath was second on the team in draw controls (2) and added a team-leading two caused turnovers in Adelphi's 12-4 win at SNHU. She collected five ground balls along the way.
Maeve Johnson, Bentley (Jr., A - Duxbury, Mass.)
Johnson scored seven goals as Bentley swept its Florida trip with wins over No. 18 St. Leo and No. 2 Florida Southern. She had a game high five goals in the win over St. Leo and a 71.4 shooting percentage. In the win over Florida Southern she had two goals, one assist and two draw controls.
Kathryn Slattery, Bentley (So., D - Chelmsford, Mass.)
Slattery helped Bentley to two road wins over ranked teams in No. 18 St. Leo and No. 2 Florida Southern. In those games the Falcons defense kept those teams to under their season scoring average for goals per game. She had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the win over St. Leo and a season high four ground balls and two caused turnovers against Florida Southern.
Jessica Meneilly, Le Moyne (Sr., A - Cicero, N.Y.)
Meneilly scored five goals and had two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in a 12-9 setback to third-ranked West Chester on Wednesday.
Elizabeth Driscoll, Saint Anselm (So., GK - Marblehead, Mass.)
Driscoll made six saves on nine shots on goal as she collected her sixth win of the season on Sunday, coming against Charleston (W.V.). The sophomore posted a 4.00 goals-against average and a 0.667 save percentage in three quarters of action.
Lexi Palmisano, Saint Anselm (Sr., A - Woburn, Mass.)
Palmisano netted five goals and added three assists for a game-high eight points in the Hawks 21-4 win over Charleston (W.V.) on Sunday. The senior collected eight draw controls and was credited with one ground ball and one caused turnover. Palmisano was two-for-two in free position chances and reached the 100-career goals mark in the contest.
Daria Bock, Saint Rose (Jr., M - New Fairfield, Conn.)
Bock earned nine draw controls and caused four turnovers against No. 6 Pace on Saturday, in addition to scoring three goals and providing two assists to the Golden Knights' offensive attack.
Ashley Burns, Saint Rose (Sr., M - Cutchogue, N.Y.)
Burns tallied seven points for the Golden Knights against #6 Pace on Saturday. In addition to distributing an assist and collecting two ground balls, Burns matched the Saint Rose single-game program record with six goals scored.
Karlie Rowe, Southern Connecticut (Sr., A - Niantic, Conn.)
In a 2-0 week, Rowe scored seven goals and added two assists for nine points. Against Saint Michael's in a 17-2 win, Rowe had three goals and an assist. Rowe also became the fourth player in program history to reach 100 career goals. She followed with a four-goal, one-assist performance against SCAD in a 21-9 win.
