Pace Wins Regular Season Title and Claims Top Seed in NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship

WLAX Bracket Release 2023

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

Quarterfinals Scheduled for Tuesday.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Pace claimed the top spot in the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship after clinching the program's first-ever NE10 regular season title on Saturday with a win over Saint Michael's. Quarterfinal action is scheduled for Tuesday at four different sites hosted by higher seeds.

The Setters, ranked No. 2 in the latest ILWomen/IWLCA Poll, went undefeated against NE10 opponents this season - which included wins over seven ranked programs. Pace, led by head coach Tricia Molfetta, will seek its first NE10 Championship in only the program's ninth year of existence.

For seedings and matchups in the 2023 NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship, please see the schedule below for dates and times of the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship final.

Pace (15-1, 12-0 NE10) lost only one game this season to then-No. 2 Florida Southern on March 12. Since then, the Setters have rattled off 13-straight victories, including wins over three teams ranked in the Top 10 of the ILWomen/IWLCA Poll. Pace will host No. 8-seeded Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Le Moyne (15-2, 11-1 NE10) enters as the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7-seeded Assumption. The Dolphins have won 10-straight games, including a perfect month of April where they went 9-0. Adelphi is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 New Haven, while No. 4-seeded Bentley will take on No. 5-seeded Saint Anselm.

The highest seeds remaining after Tuesday's quarterfinals will host the NE10 Championship semifinals on Friday. The Championship final will be played at the highest remaining seed on Sunday following Friday's results. All games throughout the Championship will be streamed on NE10NOW.tv.
