Pace Wins Three Major Awards, as NE10 Announces Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Following a historic season where it clinched the Northeast-10 Conference regular season championship, Pace women's lacrosse produced a league-high four major award winners to highlight All-Conference honors, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

Pace's Aleya Corretjer earned Attacker of the Year and Tricia Molfetta won her first-ever Coach of the Year honor, while Kayla Conway and Angelina Porcello were named Co-Midfielders of the Year as part of the Setters' All-Conference accolades.

Adelphi's Alexandra Beebe won Defensive Player of the Year, Saint Anselm's Elizabeth Driscoll was tabbed Goalkeeper of the Year and New Haven's Marielle Colalillo was selected as Rookie of the Year, rounding-out the list of major award winners who also earned First Team All-Conference recognition.

Pace, the top seed in the NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship and the No. 2 team in the Division II Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) Poll, boasted a league-high eight selections to All-Conference teams – including an NE10-best six players named to the First Team. Le Moyne was second with seven players named to All-Conference teams, with three other programs tied with five.

Corretjer ranks second among all NE10 players in points (87) and assists (48), on her way to being named Attacker of the Year. A graduate student, Corretjer tallied multiple points in every game this season and was a three-time NE10 Player of the Week honoree. She becomes the first Pace player to ever earn Attacker of the Year (formerly Player of the Year) and was a First Team All-Conference pick.

Beebe becomes the second-straight Adelphi player to earn Defensive Player of the Year, following in the footsteps of Kailey Broderick (2022). A graduate student, Beebe ranked second in the NE10 in caused turnovers (33) and led the Panthers' defense, which allowed only 8.85 goals per game to opponents – the third-best mark in the conference. She earns her first-career selection to the All-Conference First Team.

Conway and Porcello become the first Co-Midfielders of the Year since the award began in 2013 and are Pace's first-ever honorees. Conway, a graduate student, had 62 points – including 50 goals this season, the 10th-most among NE10 players. She also had 64 draw controls and 28 caused turnovers, which was seventh-most in the league. Porcello, a junior, racked up 58 points, including 43 goals, while ranking first in caused turnovers (38) and third in draw controls (107). She caused multiple turnovers in nine games this season.

Driscoll becomes the first Saint Anselm player to win NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year since Allie DiRico in 2007. In only her second season, Driscoll made a big impact for the Hawks – ranking first in save percentage (53.4), second in saves (166) and fourth in goals against average (9.22). She highlighted one of the NE10's top defenses, which has surrendered only 9.40 goals per game to opponents this season. Driscoll is the First Team All-Conference goalkeeper.

Colalillo is the second-straight New Haven player to earn Rookie of the Year, joining teammate Raegan Bailey with the distinction. In 19 games, she accounted for 58 points – which included 46 goals, the 14th-most among NE10 players. Colalillo was a four-time selection as the NE10 Rookie of the Week in her freshman campaign, while also being named to the All-Conference Third Team and the All-Rookie Team.

Molfetta led Pace to its highest national ranking in program history (currently No. 2 in the IWLCA Poll), as the Setters recorded their first-ever undefeated record in conference play (12-0) and NE10 regular season championship. Molfetta and Pace are 16-1 overall this season, including nine wins over ranked opponents. Pace is the top seed in this week's NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship, as it pursues its first league tournament title.

The NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship continues on Friday with the semifinal round. Pace will host Saint Anselm, while Le Moyne welcomes Adelphi. Both games will be streamed live on NE10 NOW – the Conference's digital streaming platform.
