Pace, Le Moyne Cruise to NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship Game on Sunday

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The top two seeds in the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship - Pace and Le Moyne - both advanced to Sunday's final with convincing semifinal victories on Friday evening. Pace will play for its first NE10 Championship in program history, while Le Moyne seeks its third.

Pace cruised past No. 5-seeded Saint Anselm by a 21-4 margin, while Le Moyne eliminated No. 3-seeded Adelphi by a 17-6 score on Friday. For Pace, it is the team's first-ever trip to an NE10 Championship game, while Le Moyne prepares to make its 10th appearance.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior attacker Gemma Addonizio recorded a career-high eight points to lead the fifth-ranked and second-seeded Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 17-6 victory over 12th-ranked and third-seeded Adelphi University in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship semifinals on Friday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.

With the victory, Le Moyne's 20th in NE10 Championships play, the Dolphins advance to the NE10 Championship game for the 10th time in their 12 seasons in the conference. The team's 20 NE10 Championships wins are the third-most in the conference's history. In pursuit of their third conference championship, the Dolphins will take on second-ranked and top-seeded Pace University in the title game on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at Pace Stadium. The matchup will be the second between the programs in the NE10 Championships, with the Dolphins looking to improve to 2-0 following a 17-11 win in 2018.
 
The Dolphins and Adelphi met in the NE10 Championships for the 10th time in Le Moyne's 12 seasons in the conference, with the Dolphins improving to 4-6 in those contests. The 17 goals are the most by the Dolphins against the Panthers in 31 all-time meetings and are the most goals allowed by the Panthers since a 22-17 win over Assumption on March 24, 2018.

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The No. 2 ranked Pace University women's lacrosse team advanced to the NE10 Championship game with a 21-4 victory over No. 5 seed and No. 17 ranked Saint Anselm College on Friday at Pace Stadium.

The Setters (17-1, 12-0 NE10) had yet another offensive explosion, scoring at least 20 goals for the seventh time in the last nine games while averaging 20.3 goals per game over that stretch. Jolie Urraro, Kayla Conway and Aleya Corretjer each scored three times for Pace, with Urraro adding three assists while Correjter had two helpers. Angelina Porcello had three goals as well, while Sydney Juvelier, Emma Rafferty and Nikki Mottes each scored two. Porcello led the team with five ground balls and four caused turnovers on the night, while Conway and junior defender Alexandra Quinn each had five draw controls to lead the team.

Pace will host its first-ever NE10 Championship final on Sunday when it welcomes No. 2-seeded Le Moyne for a 12 p.m. start.
