NE10 Player of the Week

Ivana Andric, New Haven
Graduate | Griesheim, Germany

Andric finished the week 4-0 with a pair of wins at first singles and a pair of wins at first doubles. Both of her doubles victories came with partner Gaayatri Shankar with a 6-3 win over AIC's top pair and a 6-4 win over Franklin Pierce's first doubles team. In a 7-0 win over AIC, she scored her first win of the weekend with a pair of 6-2 scores at the top singles position over Meritxell Jimeno-Vicente. She then defeated Franklin Pierce's top singles player, Maria Penalver Aguilo, with a 6-2 first set and then swept the second set 6-0.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Isabella Barona, Le Moyne
Freshman | #3 Singles/#3 Doubles | Manta, Ecuador

Barona went 4-0 in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She was a 7-6, 6-2 winner at third singles against Assumption on Saturday and a 6-1, 6-0 winner against Saint Anselm on Sunday. In third doubles action, she recorded 6-2 and 6-0 wins on Saturday and Sunday.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Birdem Oz, Le Moyne (Sr., 1st Singles/1st Doubles - Istanbul, Turkey)
Oz went 4-0 in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. At first singes, she was a 2-6, 7-5, 10-1 winner against Assumption on Saturday and a 6-0, 6-0 winner against Saint Anselm on Sunday. In first doubles action, she recorded 7-5 wins on Saturday and Sunday.

Natalie Kallmunzerova, Southern New Hampshire (Gr. - Prague, Czech Republic)
Kallmunzerova went 4-0 during a 2-0 week for the Penmen, including 2-0 at No. 1 singles. Kallmunzerova clinched Saturday's 5-2 victory over Adelphi with a 6-3, 6-2 win against Louisa Junghanns and then breezed past AIC's Meri Jimeno-Vicente, 6-1, 6-0, in a 7-0 blanking of the Yellow Jackets on Sunday. Kallmunzerova also combined with Magdalena Hubickova for a 7-6 (7-5) triumph at No. 1 doubles against Barbie Quagliardi and Caterina Federici to clinch the doubles point against Adelphi. They also blanked Jimeno-Vicente and Victoria Azcona, 6-0.

Lily Peter, Stonehill (Jr. - Weymouth, Mass.)
Peter posted a combined 5-0 record in singles and doubles play in a 3-0 week for the East Region No. 2 Skyhawks. Won all three of her singles matches and also teamed up with freshman Marissa Such for two doubles wins. Opened the week with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles in the Skyhawks 6-1 win over AIC. Followed that up by earning wins at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles in Saturday's 6-1 win at Saint Michael's. She and Such clinched the doubles point for Stonehill with their 6-2 win at No. 1. Peter followed that up with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, the highest ladder position of her career. Peter and Such clinched the doubles point for Stonehill again in Sunday's 4-3 win over Assumption with a 7-5 win at No. 3. Peter then followed with a key 6-4, 6-4 decision at No. 4 singles.
