Le Moyne, Franklin Pierce Qualify for NCAA Women's Tennis Championship

Ravens Earned the AQ After Capturing 2021 NE10 Title.


MANSFIELD, Mass. - Le Moyne and Franklin Pierce earned postseason berths on Tuesday night, as the two programs will represent the Northeast-10 Conference in the upcoming 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championship in the East Regional. Preliminary rounds of regional play will be conducted on May 6-7 at 16 regional sites for the 48 teams selected. 

The Dolphins (13-5, 10-0 NE10), who won the NE10 regular season championship this past fall, was named the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Del. The Ravens (13-5, 8-2 NE10) were the NE10 automatic qualifiers after winning the league title this past fall against Adelphi and are seeded No. 6, awaiting No. 3 Queens (NY) at the University of the District of Columbia. 

 

The winning team from each of the 16 regional sites will advance to the finals, May 17-21, in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts.
