NE10 Player of the Week

Anais Geslin, Franklin Pierce
Graduate Student | Livry-Gargin, France

In a match with Holy Cross this past week, Geslin decisively completed her No. 3 singles round in two sets, winning by scores of 6-1 and 6-0. In the latter stages of the match, Geslin was also part of a winning doubles duo at No. 1, completing a 6-4 victory to go 2 for 2 on the day.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Abigail Svor, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Lewiston, Me.

Against Regis (Mass.) on Sunday, Svor partnered with classmate Olivia Parzick at No. 2 doubles and collected an 8-3 victory. She later added a No. 4 singles win (6-1, 6-1) to gain another point for Saint Anselm. She was one of two student-athletes on the Hawks' roster (Anastasia Kapothanasis) to win in both doubles and singles play.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Anna Katz, New Haven (So. - Miami, Fla.)
In just one match last week, Katz scored victories at singles and doubles as the Chargers defeated American International. In her two wins, Katz surrendered just two points total to her opponents. In doubles play, Katz and partner Abby Murphy scored a 6-1 victory in the third doubles flight. In singles play, the Miami, Fla. transplant shutout out her fifth singles opponent, Brianna Shvetsov, in the opening set 6-0, before earning the point for her team with a 6-1 decision in the second set.

Anastasia Kapothanasis, Saint Anselm (Jr. - Westbrook, Me.)
A winner at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Regis (Mass.) last time out, Kapothanasis partnered with Julia Svor to net Saint Anselm a win at the top doubles flight before delivering a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.

Natalie Kallmunzerova, Southern New Hampshire (Gr. - Prague, Czech Republic)
Kallmunzerova went 2-0 in Saturday's 5-2 win over Goldey Beacom. She earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles against Salome Lang and also won her doubles match with Magdalena Hubickova at No. 1 by a score of 6-2, defeating Lang and Maria Bruno.
