NE10 Player of the Week

Trinidad Rodriguez-Ricchiuti, SCSU
Sophomore | Midfield | Adrogue, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Rodriguez Ricchiuti strung together stellar performances with two goals and two assists for a total of six points to help the Owls to a 2-0 week. She notched the game-tying assist in a 2-1 overtime win over AIC, and followed up that performance with two goals and an assist in a 5-1 conference win over Franklin Pierce.

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Morgan Martellio, AIC
Junior | Back | Uxbridge, Mass.

Martellio had a strong week at both ends of the field for AIC. Against Southern Connecticut, she made a key defensive save late in the third to keep the game tied at 1-1, and she scored the game-winning goal in AIC's 2-1 win against Molloy to open NE10 play.

NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Riley O'Connor, Saint Michael's
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Canton, Mass.

Riley O'Connor made 13 saves in a tough 1-0 loss to New Haven on Saturday. She held a .929 save percentage on the week, turning away 13 of 14 shots faced and currently ranks third overall in the conference with a .800 save percentage.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Kaitlyn Parent, SCSU
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Glastonbury, Conn.

The first year player picked up her first two collegiate wins in a 2-0 week for the Owls. Parent averaged 0.95 goals against and a .778 save percentage. She helped her team to a 2-1 overtime victory over AIC with a save in the final minutes of regulation.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Mirthe Karstens, Adelphi (Fr., GK - Berghem, Netherlands)
Collected 12 saves against No. 2 East Stroudsburg team including a penalty shot that was saved in the game.

Taylor Wildes, AIC (Sr., GK - Biddeford, Maine)
AIC's senior keeper was strong in AIC's 1-1 week. She stopped eight shots against Southern Connecticut, including a flurry of saves at the end of the third period, and then kept three shots out of the net in AIC's 2-1 conference-opening win over Molloy, with two coming in rapid succession shortly after the Yellow Jackets took the lead.

Kylie Gargiulo, Assumption (Sr., GK - Madison, Conn.)
Extended her winning streak against NE10 opponents to 22-straight games, with a 2-1 win over New Haven.

Gabi Sturgeon, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F - North Granby, Conn.)
In Franklin Pierce's only game last week, scored a goal in a 5-1 loss at home against SCSU on Friday afternoon. Attempted two shots in the goal, including one on goal.

Rachel Palladino, Mercy (Jr., F - Latham, N.Y.)
Palladino had a goal and an assist in the Mavericks win over Molloy on Tuesday and recorded the Mavericks lone shot on goal at Bentley on Saturday.

Lauren Viscione, Mercy (Gr., GK - Phillipsubrg, N.J.)
Viscione went 1-1 in goal with nine saves, a .692 save percentage and 2.00 goals-against average. The graduate student opened the week with two saves to earn the win over Molloy on Tuesday. The goalkeeper ended the week with seven saves and just two goals allowed at Bentley on Saturday. Viscione recorded her 300th career save against Bentley.

Kasey Volz, Mercy (So., D - Lake Grove, N.Y.)
Volz scored the game-winning goal in Mercy's win over Molloy on Tuesday.

Sophie Shreck, New Haven (Gr., M - Madison, Conn.)
Schreck scored the lone goal as she dove for the tip ball at the edge of the cage in the 21st minute, netting her second goal of the season as the Chargers defeated Saint Michael's1-0 in the NE10 opener for both squads.

Maggie Malloy, Saint Anselm (Sr., F - Canton, Mass.)
The senior netted her first goal of the season in the third quarter of the Hawks shutout victory over Pace. Malloy put both the Saint Anselm shots on goal in the tilt and was credited with five shots attempted in the contest.

Mackenzie McConnell, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK - Concord Township, Maine)
McConnell posted a three-save shutout for the Hawks, who grabbed a 1-0 victory over Pace. McConnell now has 10 shutouts in 21 career games and is riding a scoreless streak of 138:25.
