Week 9 - October 31, 2022

NE10 Player of the Week

Maddie Davis, Saint Anselm
Junior | Forward | Exeter, N.H.

Davis tied for the team lead with nine points, scoring four goals and an assist for nine points alongside one game-winning goal. With two goals and an assist against Franklin Pierce at home on Wednesday, she tacked on two more tallies at American International on Saturday to extend her point streak to four games. Since the Oct. 19 game at home against Southern New Hampshire, Davis has compiled five goals and three assists for 13 points. 


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Bianca Bachisin, Adelphi
Senior | Defense | Manorville, N.Y.

Bachisin scored two goals and had one assist along with a key defensive save this week. She started the week with a defensive save in a close 2-1 in against Mercy before adding a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Molloy. The Senior ended the week with another goal in a close 3-2 loss at New Haven.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Keira Integlia, New Haven
Graduate Student | Goalkeeper | Branford, Conn.

Integlia stood strong in the cage as she helped lead the Chargers to a shootout victory over Adelphi this past weekend. The win keeps the Chargers in the mix for a top-three finish in the NE10, currently tied for second with Saint Anselm. In that game alone, Integlia collected 19 saves, matching her career-high set earlier this year against West Chester. Overall for the week, she finished with 26 saves, adding seven against STAC in a midweek battle for an .813 save percentage on the week.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Floortje Beune, STAC
Freshman | Defense | Weesp, Netherlands

Floortje Beune recorded two goals and two assists for four points in the Spartans victory over New Haven, as STAC saw its current win-streak reach five games with victories over the Chargers and Saint Michael's last week.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Kaylee Deleva, Adelphi (Sr., F - Sound Beach, N.Y.)
Deleva had a hat trick at Molloy before adding another tally against Mercy later in the week to help the Panthers to two wins. She had a total of eight points on the week. 

Amanda Montiel, Adelphi (Jr., GK - Manorville, N.Y.)
Had a career game against Mercy with 15 and capped off a win in overtime that day.

Hannah Blomquist, Bentley (So., M - Westwood, Mass.)
Blomquist scored the game's first goal with 8:19 left in the first half, propelling Bentley to a 2-0 win at Southern Connecticut State. The goal was her third of the season.

Victoria Devlin, Mercy (Jr., D - West Islip, N.Y.)
Devlin had a team-high three defensive saves on the week. The junior had a game-high two defensive saves against Adelphi on Tuesday and added another against Frostburg State on Sunday.

Lauren Viscione, Mercy (Gr., GK - Phillipsburg, N.J.)
Viscione went 1-2 in goal with 28 saves, a .800 save percentage and 2.58 goals-against average in three games. The graduate student opened the week with 13 saves and just two goals allowed against Adelphi on Tuesday. The goalkeeper then made eight saves with just one goal allowed in the win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday. Visicone ended the week with seven saves against Frostburg State on Sunday.

Kate Demars, Pace (Jr., D - Huntington Beach, Calif.) 
Demars scored a goal and helped keep AIC scoreless in a 3-0 Pace victory.

Maggie Malloy, Saint Anselm (Sr., F - Canton, Mass.)
Malloy tied for the team lead with nine points, scoring four goals and an assist for nine points alongside one game-winning goal. She scored three of her team's six goals against Franklin Pierce at home on Wednesday before logging a goal and an assist versus American International on the road last time out. Logging one game-winning goal on the week, she now has eight goals and 19 points in her last four games. Malloy's 31 points to date this season are the fourth-most in single season history.

Mackenzie McConnell, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK - Concord Township, Maine)
McConnell conceded just one goal in two games, securing a shutout on Saturday against American International. The Hawks now have 15 shutouts in the team's last 23 victories dating back to last season, thanks to solid defensive play and a two-save performance by McConnell against AIC on Saturday. She now has 12 career shutouts, ranking second all-time in team history.

Sofia Corominas Cuen, STAC (So., D - Valldoreix, Barcelona, Spain)
Sofia Corominas Cuen tallied a goal in each of the Spartans contests against New Haven and Saint Michael's, as STAC ran its current win-streak to five games.

Annemartine Christis, SNHU (So., F - Hertogenbosch, Netherlands)
Sophomore Annemartine Christis notched a goal and an assist as the Penmen defeated Saint Michael's College 2-0 last Tuesday afternoon. Christis also had an assist with a nice back-handed pass to teammate Brianna Frisbee for a goal in SNHU's 2-1 overtime win at Southern Connecticut Saturday.
