NE10 Player of the Week

Justice Ellison, American International
Junior l Guard/Forward l Windsor, Conn.

Ellison had back-to-back huge offensive games for AIC in a split week. Against Bentley, he scored 20 points on 47.1 percent shooting to lead AIC to a win against the Falcons. He then went off for a career-best 35 in AIC's loss against Caldwell. He shot above 50 percent from deep both games, and also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest while playing almost every minute.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Dante Weise, Saint Rose
Freshman | Guard | Allentown, N.J.

Weise filled the stats columns in a pair of all-around efforts in a 1-1 week for the Golden Knights. He posted 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three steals in Tuesday's win against Assumption, followed by 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals at Felician on Sunday. He averaged 13.5 points on 69.2% shooting, along with 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Dayshaun Walton, Adelphi (So., G - Albany, N.Y.)
In a 1-1 week for Adelphi, Walton put up another double-digit scoring average, posting 20 points per game. His 20 points in each contest came from a 58.3 average shooting percentage from the field and he missed only one free throw on 10 attempts. Against Jefferson, he dished out five assists in a narrow loss, while also grabbing a steal in each contest.

Zach Laput, Bentley (Sr., G - Beacon Falls, Conn.)
During a 1-1 week, Laput averaged 22 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Falcons. After scoring 23 in an OT loss to AIC, he helped Bentley to a win over Staten Island with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block. Against the Dolphins, he shot 8 of 13 from the field and made all four of his free throws.

Keith Warren, New Haven (Jr., G - Rochester, N.Y.)
A Juco transfer guard, Warren led the Chargers in a pair of games last weekend, averaging 18.5 points, while shooting 54.5 percent overall, 46.7 percent from beyond the arc and 66.7 percent at the free throw line. He opened up the week with 10 points in a conference game against Post and followed it up with a career-high 27 points against Dominican, all coming off the bench. Against Dominican, Warren finished 8-of-12 form the field, with five from long range, and 6-of-8 at the free throw line. In addition to his scoring, he hauled in nine rebounds, dished out dive assists and picked off three steals.

Bryan Powell, Pace (Sr, F - Middletown, N.Y.)
In the Setters' dominating win of New Haven, Powell contributed 11 points, five rebounds and three assists. Against Wilmington, Powell finished with a game-high 20 points to go along with eight rebounds. He hit a triple with under two minutes left to put the game out of reach and secure the win for the Pace, who keeps its record unblemished at 6-0.

Romar Reid, St. Michael's (Sr., G - Mount Vernon, N.Y.)
Reid turned in 20 points and seven rebounds during a 74-62 victory over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, shooting 6-for-10 from the floor and 7-for-9 on free throws.

Tristian Jeffries, Saint Rose (Jr., G - Jersey City, N.J.)
Jeffries averaged 18.0 points per game on 50.0 percent shooting (13-of-26) in a 1-1 week for Saint Rose. He began the week with 12 points and three boards in a Tuesday win over Assumption before posting a 24-point, seven-rebound effort at Felician on Sunday.
