NE10 Player of the Week

Romar Reid, Saint Michael's
Senior l Guard l Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Reid averaged 32.0 points on 61.5% shooting during a 2-0 week. He averaged 2.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals while shooting 12-for-15 (80.0%) on free throws. In a 107-96 win at Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, Reid scored 29 points on 11-for-18 shooting while collecting three assists and hitting all five free throw tries. He tallied a career-high 35 points in a 73-69 win at Saint Anselm on Saturday, going 13-for-21 from the floor and 7-of-10 at the charity stripe and adding two steals.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Trey Boyd III, Saint Rose
Freshman | Guard | Durham, N.C.

Boyd III was clutch for the Golden Knights in their two victories this week. In addition to knocking down a game-tying three at the buzzer to force a third OT at Assumption, Boyd III also provided Saint Rose the game-winning basket with 19 seconds left in Saturday's comeback win over Pace. The freshman finished the week with 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game, which included a career-best 25 points in the triple overtime win versus the Greyhounds. He has logged double-digit scoring efforts in 10 of the 11 contests for the Golden Knights.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Justice Ellison, American Int'l (Jr., G/F - Windsor, Conn.)
Ellison led AIC to a pair of NE10 wins over the last week, playing 38 minutes in both games and scoring 21 points per game while contributing 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest. 19 of his 21 against Adelphi came in the second half, including the game-tying and winning free throws with less than three seconds left in regulation.

Kasey Draper, Assumption (Sr., F - Roanoke, Va.)
Draper averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in two games for the Greyhounds. On Tuesday, he scored 20 points and pulled down three rebounds before adding two assists and four steals in 55 minutes of action. Draper capped off the week with 21 points and six rebounds in Assumption's 79-76 win at Southern Connecticut. Draper has now scored 20+ points in five-straight games for the Greyhounds.

Kellan Bochenek, Bentley (Gr., G - Kettering, Ohio)
In a 100-74 win at New Haven, Bochenek drained six of 11 three-pointers and finished with a career-high 23 points, five rebounds and one steal. He also bettered his season average by scoring 16 in a loss to American International. Overall in a 1-1 week, he produced 19.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game while shooting .481 overall, .450 from three (9/20) and 1.000 at the line (4/4).

Jah'Likai King, New Haven (Fr., G - Newburgh, N.Y.)
For the second time in his rookie campaign, King topped the 30 point mark as he closed out the week with 32 points against Bentley, shooting 12-of-22 from the field and surpassed his career-high from beyond the arc making 8-of-12 from long range with his previous high of two he set six different times. Overall for the week, King averaged 22 points per game and shot 44.7 percent overall and 52.6 percent from beyond the arc. He also managed to pull down six rebounds and dished out 10 assists, the latter extending his team lead in that column.

Matt Becker, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Fairfield, Conn.)
Becker poured in 37 total points this week for Saint Saint Anselm including a season-high 21 points against Southern N.H. on Wednesday. He was the only Hawk to post back-to-back double-doubles ending the week with 20 total rebounds, eight assists, four blocks, and three steals. Becker also knocked down four three-pointers apiece during the two conference match-ups going 8-for-16 from behind the arc.

Ata Turgut, Saint Rose (Jr., F - Ankara, Turkey)
Turgut helped the Golden Knights to a 2-0 week with 21.5 points per game on 65 percent shooting. The forward began the stretch with 15 points, four boards, and two assists in a triple overtime win at Assumption before posting 28 points and six rebounds in Saturday's home victory against Pace. Turgut was especially effective with the long-ball this week, as he finished 6-of-8 from behind the arc in the two wins.

Kazell Stewart, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., F - East Hartford, Conn.)
In two games this weekend, Stewart averaged 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game to go along with two blocks per contest. Against Adelphi, Stewart had 10 points, eight rebounds and a block. Against Assumption, he had a team-high 21 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Matt Becht, Southern N.H. (Gr., G/F - Vienna, Va.)
Becht recorded 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 40 percent (14-35) from the field, including 48.1 percent (13-27) from downtown, and going a perfect 2-for-2 from the line, during a 2-0 week for SNHU. Becht notched 21 points (7-18 FG, 7-17 3-FG) and eight rebounds in Wednesday's 82-52 triumph over Saint Anselm, and then came back with 22 points (7-17 FG, 6-10 3-FG, 2-2 FT) and four boards in an 81-78 win at Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
