NE10 Player of the Week

Tyler Arbuckle, Saint Anselm
Senior l Guard l Bristol, Conn.

Arbuckle dropped a career-high 39 points on Sunday against Daemen in a 112-109 loss. He also produced eight defensive rebounds, three assists, and a steal for Saint Anselm during their final non-conference game of the season. Arbuckle is currently ranked third overall in both points per game (20.1) and field goals per game (6.9-16.0) in the conference.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ethan Simmon, New Haven
Sophomore (Rookie Eligible) | Forward | Edison, N.J.

Simmon closed out his third-straight game in double figures and his second-straight with 20+ in the scoring column, finishing a come-from-behind road win at Staten Island with an even 20 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field, with all four buckets from outside the arc, while also going a perfect 8-of-8 at the free throw line. One of his four field goals came from just inside of halfcourt as time expired at the end of the first half. In addition to his 20 points, he also added an assist and a pair of steals.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Conor Regan, Adelphi (Gr., F - Mullica Hill, N.J.)
Regan poured in a team high 19 points in an Adelphi non-conference win over Chestnut Hill. A perfect 7-for-7 performance from the floor highlighted the effort, including two buckets from beyond the arc. He also pulled down four boards and added a block in the victory.

Njavan Stewart, Assumption (Sr., G - Newton Upper Falls, Mass.)
Stewart was a major part in Assumption's 75-63 win over the regionally-ranked Dominican University to cap off 2023. In 38 minutes of action, he scored a game-high 17 points as well as 14 rebounds. This was the first career-double-double for Stewart.

Davontrey Thomas, New Haven (Sr., F - Poughkeepsie, N.Y.)
One of three players in double figures, Thomas wrapped up his eight-straight game in double figures with 17 points to help lead the Chargers to their third-straight victory, defeating Staten Island on the road. For the game, Thomas shot 4-of-8 from the field, with half of those field goals from outside the three point arc, while he also went 7-of-8 at the free throw line. In addition, he added three rebounds and a pair of steals.

Darrel Yepdo, Saint Michael's (So., G - Dracut, Mass.)
Yepdo netted 23 points with five rebounds and four assists in a 94-90 win at Queens on Saturday. He shot 6-for-13 from the floor and 8-for-10 on free throws while scoring six points in the final 1:47 to seal the victory.

Nuha Sagnia, Saint Rose (Jr., F - Pipeline, Gambia)
Sagnia shot 6-of-8 from the field to finish with 16 points and nine rebounds on Thursday versus Staten Island. He also added two blocks and a steal on the defensive end.

Josh McGettigan, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., F - Southbury, Conn.)
Owls' standout Josh McGettigan torched Molloy for 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor including a pair of three-pointers while also grabbing a team-leading nine rebounds and also finished with two steals. It was McGettigan's fifth 20-point effort of the season while his nine rebounds match a season-high.
