NE10 Player of the Week

Jake Veres, Pace
Senior | Attack | Robbinsville, N.J.,

Veres once again led the Setters' offense during a 2-0 stretch last week. The senior piled up 12 points off eight goals and four assists, while also nabbing four ground balls. He saved his best performance during Pace's thrilling 16-15 overtime win at No. 16 Bentley on Saturday. Veres tallied three goals and four helpers, including a goal with 26 seconds left to draw within one and then the game-tying goal with just 8.5 seconds remaining to send it to overtime


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Edward Perlstein, Adelphi
Senior | Face-Off | Hewlett, N.Y.

Eddie Perlstein was nearly perfect at the faceoff this week for Adelphi finished 27-for-29 at the X with a team-leading 19 ground balls. He won all but two attempts in a narrow non-conference victory against Molloy but went 17-for-17 in an NE10 bout with Franklin Pierce.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Frank Delia, Le Moyne
Senior | Goalkeeper | Baldwinsville, N.Y.

He registered a 4.35 goals against average, 21 saves and a .778 save percentage in second-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He tallied 16 saves, including six in the second quarter, in a 13-6 victory at 16th-ranked Bentley on Tuesday. He then made five saves without allowing a goal over 22:42 between the pipes in a 15-4 win over American International on Friday.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Cooper Wilson, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Face-Off | Niskayuna, N.Y.

Freshman Cooper Wilson finished 26-for-46 (56.5%) on faceoffs with 15 ground balls during a 1-1 week. In a 10-4 win over Franklin Pierce, which was receiving national votes, on Tuesday, he was 10-for-18 on draws with six ground balls before going 16-for-28 at the X with nine ground balls at No. 17 Saint Anselm on Saturday.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Dylan Renner, Adelphi (So, GK - Roslyn Heights, N.Y. , 1)
Dylan Renner earned two more wins this week to remain perfect between the pipes for Adelphi, securing victories over Molloy and Franklin Pierce. Despite allowing eight goals in non-conf. action, he collected eight saves and added three more saves in one half of work against the Ravens to finish with 13 saves for the week.

Ryan Birch, Bentley (Sr., M/A - Walpole, Mass.)
Birch had two goals and two assists to help Bentley to a 16-8 victory over AIC on April 6. His two goals came on his only two shots on goal and came in the 2nd and 4th quarters. He assisted on goals in the 1st and 3rd quarters. The four points is a season high and Birch has recorded multiple points in all but one game this season.

Carter Collins, Le Moyne (Sr, A - Prior Lake, Minn., 21)
He tallied eight points on six goals and two assists to go with a pair of ground balls in second-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He recorded five points on four goals and an assist with two ground balls in a 13-6 victory at 16th-ranked Bentley on Tuesday. He posted three points on two goals and an assist playing just the first quarter in a 15-4 win over American International on Friday.

Louis Ragusa, Pace (Sr., GK - Yorktown Heights, N.Y.)
Ragusa was once again a dominant force in net for Pace last week. The senior keeper racked up 30 saves across a pair of Setter victories. Ragusa was especially impressive on Saturday in Pace's overtime win over Bentley when he registered a career-high 20 stops.

Griffin Shiland, Pace (Gr., LSM - Mohegan Lake, N.Y., 25)
Shiland was all over the field for Pace during the Setters' 2-0 stretch last week. The graduate student totaled four ground balls and two caused turnovers in each game, while also assisting on a pair of Pace goals.

CJ Hart, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Reading, Mass., 38)
Hart posted a 68.2% save percentage in two victories for Saint Anselm, making 15 saves on 23 shots to help the Hawks to wins over American International and Saint Michael's this past week.

Jack Robinson, Saint Anselm (Jr., A - Wilbraham, Mass., 41)
Robinson racked up 16 points on offense for Saint Anselm, scoring six goals with 10 assists (6-10=16) for Saint Anselm in a 2-0 week. He put home three goals in each game, adding four assists at American International on Tuesday before handing out six assists versus Saint Michael's at home on Saturday. Tallying a career-high nine points on Saturday and producing six helpers, Robinson became just the second student-athlete in team history to reach that many assists in one game twice.

Ryan Slattery, Saint Anselm (Jr., D - North Andover, Mass., 33)
Slattery posted five ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for Saint Anselm, limiting opponents to exactly five goals per game in that span. He logged three caused turnovers for the Hawks at American International on Tuesday before reeling in three ground balls with two forced miscues against Saint Michael's on Saturday. He is the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers per game, averaging 1.62 per contest across 29 career games.

Spencer Scardino, St. Michael's (So., G - Niskayuna, N.Y.)
Spencer Scardino averaged 16.0 saves with a .593 save percentage during a 1-1 week. During a 10-4 win against Franklin Pierce, which was receiving national votes, on Tuesday, he made 14 saves while scooping a pair of ground balls. Scardino added 18 stops in 55:35 at 17th-ranked Saint Anselm on Saturday.

Gennaro Marra, Southern N.H. (Jr., FO - Derry, N.H., 20)
Gennaro Marra, SNHU's face-off specialist, had another big week, winning 33 of 46 (71.7%) in SNHU?s wins over Saint Rose and Post. For the season, he has won 63.8% of his faceoffs.

Alex Sturgess, Southern N.H. (Sr., GK - Derry, N.H.)
Alex Sturgess won both starts for the Penmen last week, making 24 saves against Saint Rose and adding seven more saves against Post. Had a 7.5 goals against average for the week. The senior has started in goal in each of the last three SNHU contests, and won them all.

Jack Terrones, Southern N.H. (So., Attack - Anaheim, Calif., 5)
Jack Terrones led the Penmen in a 2-0 week with six goals and three assists. That gives him 25 goals and eight assists on the season (33 points).
