Adelphi's Duchnowski, Saint Anselm's Slattery Lead NE10 Players in USILA All-Region Honors

35 NE10 Players Earn All-Region Honors.


MANSFIELD, Mass. - Adelphi's Joe Duchnowski and Saint Anselm's Ryan Slattery have been named the USILA North Region Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, as the Northeast-10 Conference tallied 35 student-athletes who earned All-Region honors last week. Six different men's lacrosse programs were represented on the list of All-Region honorees. 

Eight NE10 players earned First Team recognition, including Duchnowski and Slattery, with Le Moyne and Saint Anselm each boasting a league-high three selections on the top team. Overall, Le Moyne had a league-best 10 players earn All-Region status, while Adelphi was second with nine. 

Duchnowski was the NE10 Player of the Year and led Adelphi to its fourth NE10 title in program history. He was the top point scorer for the Panthers in 15 games, tallying 38 goals and 14 assists for 52 total points. Slattery was the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year - only the second Saint Anselm player to ever win the award - and he recorded 40 ground balls and caused 25 turnovers (tied for third-most in the NE10) to anchor the Hawks' defense. 

Le Moyne's Frank Delia, the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year, was a First Team All-Region selection - joining teammates Nate Arnold and Zach Pierce with the honor. Saint Anselm's Nick Larsen and Will Palmer also earned First Team nods, while Adelphi's Sean McGovern rounded-out the team.
