NE10 MEN'S LACROSSE TOURNAMENT CENTRAL
MANSFIELD, Mass. – No. 5 seed Bentley shut down No. 4 Pace 7-3 in NE10 First Round action, while third seed Saint Anselm dispatched Southern New Hampshire 18-6 on highlight men's lacrosse action on Saturday.
The Falcons got a measure of revenge after falling to the Setters two weeks ago in overtime, while the Hawks look to advance to the NE10 Championship for the second straight year.

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Senior goalie Keaton Roarick made 14 saves and Bentley turned in a standout defensive performance to defeat No. 11 nationally ranked Pace 7-3 in the first round of the Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Championship on Saturday.
The Falcons held the Setters, who came into the game with the NE10's second highest scoring offense, to a season-low three goals. Pace also came into the game with the top three leaders in the NE10 in points and held them to a combined two points. Bentley never trailed in this game after they jumped out to a 2-0 first quarter lead on a pair of goals by senior midfielder Ben Baldasaro and led 4-2 at the half. The Falcons gave up an early third quarter goal but held the Setters scoreless for the final 27 minutes.
The Falcons won 12 of 13 face-offs while Ryan Birch and Baldasaro each scored two goals to lead the offense. Alex Parton led the defense with three caused turnovers.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – No. 3 seed Saint Anselm picked up a convincing 18-6 victory over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday in the First Round of the Northeast-10 Conference postseason. The Hawks will head to No. 2 seeded Le Moyne on Wednesday, May 4 for a 4 p.m. contest.
The Hawks have now earned a spot in the NE10 semifinals for the third time since the 2018 season, finishing as the league's runner-up program twice (2018, 2021). Sophomores Noah Larsen and Nick Larsen combined to log four goals and five assists for nine points (4-5=9), with Noah tallying three goals with two helpers for a career-high five points (3-2=5) and Nick producing one goal and three assists off the bench.
Saint Anselm opened up an 8-0 lead with just 7:17 to go in the first half, building a 4-0 lead through the middle of the first quarter with four goal scorers. The Hawks grew their lead to 14-2 in the third quarter and eventually led by a 17-4 margin with 6:40 left in regulation.
