NE10 Player of the Week

Rodrigo Descalzo Rocca, Adelphi
Sophomore | Forward | Buenos Aires, Argentina

Descalzo scored the game-winning goals in a pair of one-goal road victories for the Panthers last week. He headed in the overtime game-winner and assisted on a second-half goal in a 3-2 victory at New Haven last Wednesday (Sept. 22). He also accounted for both Adelphi goals in a 2-1 win at SNHU on Saturday (Sept. 25), finishing with seven points on the week (3g, 1a).

NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Lucas Morales Fernandez, AIC
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Amherst, Mass.

Morales-Fernandez was brilliant in a 2-0-0 week for the Yellow Jackets. He authored a six-save shutout at No. 19 Le Moyne, leading AIC to a 1-0 overtime win, and followed that with three stops, including saving a PK, in a 4-1 victory against Bentley.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Josue Assantha, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo)
The junior posted two goals and an assist for five points in the 4-0 win at Stonehill. Assantha opened the match with an assist on the first goal of the contest and then added two second half goals to propel the Hawks in the win. He had two shots on goal against New Haven, including a chance to tie the match late. However, the shot attempt was turned aside.

Brian Underhill, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK - Westford, Mass.)
The junior goalkeeper made four saves in a shutout win over Stonehill, including two saves in the first half which prevented the Skyhawks from getting back into the match on the scoreboard. He added four saves in the 2-0 loss to New Haven on Saturday.

Isaiah McCaskill, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Springfield, Mass.)
Senior Isaiah McCaskill  scored twice in a 4-1 win against Assumption on Saturday, tallying the game's first goal before netting his team's third goal.

Mathias Loft, Saint Michael's (Sr., GK - Frederiksberg, Denmark)
Senior Mathias Loft (Frederiksberg, Denmark) allowed two goals in 176:29 last week, recording a 1.02 GAA and a .750 save percentage. In a 1-0 loss to No. 2 Franklin Pierce, he made five saves while yielding only a 23rd-minute tally. Loft had one stop in a 4-1 win over Assumption on Saturday, allowing only a seventh-minute penalty kick.

Ryan Henning, Saint Rose (Jr., GK - Glenmont, N.Y.)
Henning made six saves in Wednesday's 2-0 win at Southern Connecticut State and recorded three stops, including a pair back-to-back from point blank range, during Saturday's 2-0 setback to #2 and league leader Franklin Pierce.

Michael Goncalves, Southern N.H. (Gr., F - Ludlow, Mass.)
Michael Goncalves scored three goals during a 1-1-0 week for the Penmen, as he registered his first career hat trick in Wednesday's 5-1 triumph over Assumption. Goncalves scored in the 52nd, 59th and 71st minutes to ice the victory.

Aidan O'Sullivan, Stonehill (Jr., B - Quincy, Mass.)
Scored the first two goals of his collegiate career to give the Skyhawks a two goal lead 18 minutes into the contest on their way to a 4-1 win over Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. The goals came within a 59-second span in the 17th and 18th minute to open the scoring in the match.
