Nine Soccer Programs Post GPA over 3.0 for 2020-21 Academic Year
MANSFIELD, Mass. – United Soccer Coaches has released its 2020-21 Team Academic Award Recipients and nine different NE10 men's and women's soccer programs earned recognition from the USC.
The Team Academic Award honors programs which maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2020-21 academic year. Saint Rose and Stonehill were the only NE10 schools which had both its men's and women's programs honored. They were two of 110 schools nationally among all three NCAA Divisions to achieve that feat.
On the women's side AIC, Franklin Pierce, Le Moyne, Saint Rose, Southern Conn. and Stonehill were all honored and each had a team GPA over 3.30. The Ravens had the highest GPA at 3.56 while the Yellow Jackets (3.51) and Owls (3.50) all posted GPA's of at least 3.50.
For the men, New Haven, Saint Rose and Stonehill were the three schools recognized. Saint Rose had the top GPA among those three programs at 3.34.
