NE10 Ranks Second Among All Division II Conferences.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 11 of 14 member institutions ranked in the final fall standings of the 2021-22 Learfield Directors' Cup – a metric used to award points based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships – as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) in late December.

American International led all NE10 institutions with 226.00 points, ranking it fourth among all Division II institutions. The Yellow Jackets competed in the NCAA Championships for men's and women's cross country, men's soccer and volleyball.

Stonehill was second among NE10 institutions, placing 33rd overall with a total of 131.00 points. The Skyhawks appeared in NCAA Championships for men's and women's cross country and volleyball.

As a conference, the NE10 ranked second in Division II in both total number of schools recognized (11) and number of schools ranked in the top 100 of the fall standings (9).

Southern Connecticut (52), Franklin Pierce (56), Saint Rose (57), New Haven (62), Bentley (65), Assumption (92) and Southern New Hampshire (100) joined AIC and Stonehill in the top 100 of the Learfield fall standings. Adelphi and Saint Anselm tied for 122nd and rounded-out the list of NE10 institutions.

Saint Rose women's soccer made the longest NCAA postseason run among team sports from NE10 institutions during the 2021 fall season, advancing to the national championship game, while Assumption field hockey made an impressive postseason run of its own, advancing to the national semifinals.
