For Immediate Release

October 29, 2011

South Easton, Mass. - The field for the upcoming 2011 Northeast-10 Men's Soccer Conference Championship has been announced.  The College of Saint Rose is the top seed of the eight-team event, which will begin Tuesday afternoon and culminate with the championship final next Sunday, November 6th.

The Northeast-10's website will have complete coverage of this year's championship, and the final will be broadcast live on www.northeast10.org and www.northeast10.tv.  The conference's official Twitter feed (@TheNortheast10) will have live updates for all of the conference championship action.

The Golden Knight have won each of the last four Northeast-10 Conference Championships and will be looking to make it five straight this year.  They open their 2011 Championships with a quarterfinal round matchup with Adelphi University.

The second seed in this year's event is Merrimack College.  The Warriors will play host to the seventh-seeded Setters of Pace University on Tuesday afternoon.  Merrimack handed top-seeded Saint Rose their only league loss of the season earlier this month.

Also hosting first round games will be the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Southern Connecticut State University.  The third-seeded River Hawks will host Southern New Hampshire University in the quarterfinals, while So. Connecticut hosts Stonehill College.
