NE10 Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Matt Bartolotta, Le Moyne
R-Freshman | Syracuse, N.Y.

He placed fourth out of 199 runners (1st among 37 NE10 competitors) at Roberts Wesleyan College's eight-kilometer Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday with a career-best time of 25:43.5, almost one minute faster than his previous career best.


NE10 Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Merciyline Kimaiyio, American International
Freshman | Eldoret, Kenya

AIC's top runner was brilliant once more for the Yellow Jackets at the Ted Owen Invitational, hosted by Central Connecticut State University. She completed the 5K course in 17:50, taking second place and leading the Yellow Jackets to a team win in a field with eight Division I opponents.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Gabe Medina, American International (Jr. - West Springfield, Mass.)
Medina led AIC's men's cross country team at Central Connecticut State's Ted Owen Invitational. He placed 11th overall in the heavily Division-I laden field and second among NE10 athletes with a time of 26:57.5 on the 8K course.

Claudio Rocha, Assumption (Jr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Rocha led Assumption at the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday with an impressive sixth place finish overall. He crossed the 8K finish line in 26:21.7 and was the top NE10 finisher.

Ashley Wargo, Assumption (Sr. - Southbury, Conn.)
Wargo was the first Greyhound to cross the finish line in the 5K at the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday. She placed 18th out of 117 runners, with a time of 19:40.3 as the Hounds took home 7th/12 place overall.

Rebecca Erhard, Stonehill (Sr. - Wenham, Mass.)
Paced three Skyhawks in the top ten and four in the top 15 with her third-place individual finish, out of 186 competitors overall, at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday in a preview of the course that will host the NCAA East Regional in November. She completed the five-kilometer course in 18:28.5, matching the highest individual finish of her career and marks the third top ten finish of her career - the second top five of the season in as many races she has entered.

Reilly Johnston, Stonehill (Jr. - East Providence, R.I.)
Led five Skyhawks in the top 15 with his seventh-place finish, in a field of 203 runners, to lead Stonehill to the team title at Saturday's Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan, in a preview of the host course for the NCAA East Regional in November. Johnston completed the eight-kilometer course in 25:54.4. It marks the highest individual finish of his career and his second career top ten.
