NE10 Player of the Week

Tim Feliz, Adelphi
Junior | Outfield | Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.

Feliz hit an impressive .542 (13-of-24) in only six games (24 at-bats) with two homers and a team-leading eight RBI in a 4-2 week for the Panthers. He also slugged at an outstanding 1.000 clip and got on base at a 59.3 percent clip. Feliz had seven extra-base hits on the week and stole three bags. In the last three games of the AIC series, he batted 8-for-13 with two games of three hits or more, five runs scored, seven RBI and two home runs.


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Luke Marshall, Stonehill
Junior | Pitcher | Swampscott, Mass.

Marshall earned his second win of the season with an 11-6 victory over Saint Anselm as he tossed 8.0 innings, allowing just three hits and one run. The junior walked two and struck out a career-best 10 batters earning a 1.13 ERA. Marshall assisted the Skyhawks to one of the four wins this weekend, as Stonehill swept the Hawks. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ian Battipaglia, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore (First Year Player) | Infield | Cheshire, Conn.

Posted a .478/.586/.739 slash line for a 1.325 OPS in a 3-3 week for the Ravens. Hit three doubles and one home run, scored 10 times and drove in 16. Drew five walks against six strikeouts. Has a day in a doubleheader against Saint Michael's on Wednesday, as he went 7-for-9 over two games, with two doubles and a home run, scored seven times and drove in 11 (including eight in the first game). In the first game at SNHU on Sunday, went 2-for-5 with a three-run double, scored once and drove in five.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Dalton Quinn, American International (Jr., INF - Lowell, Mass.)
Quinn had another fantastic week at the plate for the Yellow Jackets. He hit .368/.369/.737 in 19 at-bats. In those at-bats he had six RBIs with two home runs and two runs. Both of his home runs came at key points of the game against Adelphi. In a game where the Yellow Jackets trailed by as many as six runs, Quinn hit a three run shot to tie the game and hit a solo home run on his next at-bat to tie the game again.

Andres Auffant, Franklin Pierce (So., P - Center Moriches, N.Y.)
Made two appearances, including one start, and picked up a pair of wins for the Ravens on the week. Over eight innings of work, allowed just one run on four hits, walked two and struck out eight to post a 1.13 ERA. Started the front end of a doubleheader against Saint Michael's on Wednesday, threw five scoreless, allowed three hits, walked one and struck out six. In the first game at SNHU on Sunday, took over to start the second, threw three innings, allowed one run on one hit, walked one and struck out two. 

Dylan Jones, Franklin Pierce (Sr., C - Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.)
Slashed .522/.500/1.087 for a 1.587 OPS in a 3-3 week for the Ravens. Hit four doubles and three home runs, scored seven times and drove in seven. Feasted on Saint Michael's in a doubleheader sweep on Wednesday, as he went 5-for-9 with two doubles and a home run, scored twice and drove in three. In the first game at SNHU on Saturday, went 3-for-3 with a double and a homer, scored twice and drove in three. In the first game at SNHU on Sunday, went 4-for-5 with a double and a solo homer, and scored three times.

Thomas Eletto, New Haven (Jr., OF/P - Locust Valley, N.Y.)
In his only appearance of the week, Eletto earned a victory in seven shutout innings at Pace. The junior righty allowed five hits against the Setters while striking out six batters to earn his second victory of the season. 

Patrick Gleason, Pace (So., P - Valhalla, N.Y.)
Gleason faced the minimum amount of batters across five scoreless innings on Sunday against New Haven. He earned his first career win for Pace after allowing just a single hit and registering four strikeouts. Gleason has now tossed eight scoreless frames this season.

Harrison Treble, Pace (Sr., OF - Oyster Bay, N.Y.)
Treble led Pace's offense during the Setters' 3-1 series win over New Haven last weekend. The Long Island native went 6-for-14 (.429) across four games with six runs scored and three RBIs. He also walked once and totaled three stolen bases. Treble recorded his fourth triple of the season on Sunday. 

Nick Artymowicz, Southern New Hampshire (Gr., P - Seaville, N.J.)
Artymowicz improved to 5-0 Sunday with a win in SNHU's 8-0 blanking of Franklin Pierce in game two of the doubleheader. Artymowicz fired five-and-two-thirds scoreless innings, allowing four hits and four walks, while striking out six. 

Marcus Chavez, Southern New Hampshire (Gr., C - Queens, N.Y.)
Chavez had a huge weekend, as the Penmen went 3-1 against in-state rival Franklin Pierce. Chavez was 7-for-12 with a double, two home runs, four walks, four RBI and six runs scored, while slashing .583/.722/1.167. In a 6-3 game-two win Saturday, Chavez was 3-for-3 with a walk and a huge game-tying home run in the bottom of the seventh that set up a walk-off home run just four batters later.

Matt Farragher, Stonehill (Jr., INF - Mansfield, Mass.)
Farragher led the Skyhawks with six RBI in the four-game series sweep against Saint Anselm this weekend. The junior went 7-for-13 with three doubles, his first home run of the season, and seven runs scored. Farragher walked four times and in the field, at second base, he made four put outs with no errors, turning three double plays.
